The Greensboro location’s staff are rude, unhelpful and provide conflicting stories. Customers receive conflicting stories about orders from staff and then their staff become hateful when pointing out their inconsistencies. Follow up to their corporate office results in a circular reference phone tree such that a customer cannot reach a human via telephone. After researching the CEO’s name I was finally able to leave a message while searching by name in their convoluted phone directory.
They are quick to point out that they don’t deal with the public; however, the public is held to their lazy work ethic and poor customer service skills because the public doesn’t have any other option to get warrantied parts and equipment.
Buyer beware — DO NOT PURCHASE GOODMAN HVAC SYSTEMS. Spend your money with someone who backs their equipment and doesn’t rely on questionable distributors.
I 've got customers with registered Amana systems, I installed and I bought from East Coast. Now they want to replace their 2nd system and I can't buy Amana anymore. I end up looking bad, having to tell my customers I can not buy the equipment I've installed in their home to begin with. THANKS EAST COAST
