For everyone including Subcontractors be careful doing business with JLK Mechanical
they don’t pay you when you doing work for them as a subcontractor they will make you due work for them and after you complete your project they never answer your emails or calls because they don’t want to pay they like to used other companies to make money and not pay them

My heater kept turning on, working fine for a week and then would stop working. Called JLK suspecting it was a bad heat exchange. They came out and diagnosed it. Said it was dirty and had some loose wires. He had already tightened the wires and cleaned it at that point. No extra hidden costs. Just a quick, honest. cheap fix! It was refreshing to do business with an honest company! Highly recommend!!!!!

I lucked out finding JLK to repair my failing HVAC unit on a "soon to be hot" Saturday morning. No additional after hours charge, a local, small but growing company, the tech was here within 2 hours (on a Saturday!) and gone within an hour. The service tech, Tyler, is just plain good people. He wears his honesty and heart on his shoulder for all to see! I know why this company is growing...I had a positive experience with both Rob & Tyler and will call JLK again whenever needed. Thanks guys!

I'm a little disappointed with JLK Mechanical. I called JLK Mechanical because they are local to me and have great reviews on Google.
On April 8th, I had a rep out to my house to give me an estimate to replace my heat pump and all duct work. It is now April 30th and I haven't heard back from them. Looks like this job just slipped through the cracks. I suppose I could have followed up but it wasn't my sale to loose. I'm not going to beg a company to take my money. I view the lack of response as an indication as to what to expect from the company.
The office called when the estimator was supposed to be at my house. They needed to reschedule, the technician was tied up on a repair. I understand that happens and it wasn't too big of a problem for me. I couldn't reschedule for another day so he came later that afternoon (thank you for working it into your schedule later that day). I feel he was slightly in over his head and they should have sent someone more familiar with duct design as my whole system has to be redesigned and replaced. The other two companies I called had specific estimators for this work or the owner came out to look at the job.
I did call the company to see why they never called back. No reason was given other than the estimate was started but not finished.
On a positive note - The lady that answered the phone was friendly and apologetic when I called to inquire as to why they never got me the estimate.

These guys are top notch. I sold my home and the hvac went out after I moved. The new owner called me and said that another company was going to charge him $1,500. I called JLK and had them come out and take a look for him. They fixed the issue for less than $100. They aren’t out to scam you like some companies. They are trustworthy and they are the only HVAC company I use in the area. I highly recommend using them.

The owner, Rob, came to our home and thoroughly surveyed our aging HVAC systems. He is very knowledgeable and clearly explained in detail replacement vs repair options. He then emailed us three quotes, and my husband and I chose to replace both HVAC systems with the option that worked within our budget. Rob coordinated an installation date around our schedules and clearly communicated with us throughout the process. His technicians showed up ON the proposed date and ON TIME! They were highly skilled, friendly, clean and professional. Rob came back to personally inspected the installation, making certain it met our expectations, which it did! We could not be more pleased with JKL from start to finish. Thank you JKL Mechanical!

This is by far the best customer service and support I've ever had. Professional and friendly staff that try to do whatever they can to give you the best price without compromising service. Text alerts give you a picture and a short bio of who your technician will be with a live tracking map so you know exactly when to expect them. Top notch service! I highly recommend them!!

This is the best customer service I ever had from a Ac comp. our unit had stopped working and I CALL THE OFFICE AT 5:15 PM thinking I would be leaving a msg to my surprise someone answered and got right on the situation with in 15 minutes had a call back and in less than a hour I had a tyler at my door he got right to the problem fixed it within a half hour. he was very knowledgeable of the problem He saved me a ton of money from one of those BIG SHOT COMPANY yOU KNOW WHO!! great service honest people and local company big 10 stars
