Phil's Air Conditioning & Heating

I can't stress how honest and helpful Phil and his team are. Even though his company doesn't do boiler decarbs, Phil recommended a fantastic chimney and boiler repairman that came to the rescue when National Grid decided shut off my mom's boiler due to high levels of CO. Definitely will have Phil and his team first in mind when it comes to any future HVAC, plumbing or heating projects. It is close to impossible to find good honest service companies on the Island but Phil's AC & Heating shines way above the rest and would recommend them highly.

Beware - I do not trust this business and will not be using them again. I strongly suggest you find another business to trust with your HVAC needs.

I used Phil's services to fix a problem we had with the heater (it wouldn't switch off) and also signed up for the annual servicing, where they maintain the heater and the a/c once a year.

Someone came to fix the heater and replaced it with a new circuit board. It took about 10 mins to change it out. This did fix the problem however, they charged me $500 (this was apparently after discount). When they left I thought it was strange it cost so much, so I googled the part and found out it was max $100, I called the office numerous times to be told someone would get back to me but no one ever did.

At this point I had already signed up for the annual servicing contract although I wish I hadn't. They came to service the A/c a few months later. The person went up to check the pressure and said the pressure was good on the coolant. My husband was there and asked him to check again because the a/c wasn't blowing cool, so he checked again and said there was actually no pressure. He said there may be a leak so he couldn't replace the coolant, so we asked for a quote for the leak test and we never heard from them again. So they effectively came to service the a/c, almost told us it was fine when it wasn't, then did nothing to actually fix or service it.

Incredibly disappointing and frustrating to say the least. Total waste of time and money.

My experience with Phil is that he will take care of you. Service crew are very good and honest. I would not consider another firm.

I would never use this company again. They were a waste of my money because they did not fix the problem after they promise me they would. Of course I paid them, now they are ignoring me . I have find another company to do what they did not do! More money 😒, but I will make sure I make a report to the Better Business Burea since they are promising and getting paid and not doing what they were supposed to.

I usually don't leave a review, but this company deserves it.Best costumer service ever,best work done in very little time,and price was right.Thank you again Phil,we will definitely call you for the next project.
