AquaTech installed a generator in July 2022. Owner Chris and sales rep Matt worked quickly to provide us with the best quote. Chris then walked us through every step--signing up with the bank and getting the permits. On installation day, Brandon and his team arrived ahead of time and all four of them spent close to 10 hours at our home, ensuring that everything went smoothly, and it did. Before leaving, Brandon staged a mock blackout just to make sure we would know what to do during a real power outage. He then showed us how to access the mobile app and made sure we understood the service arrangements. Afterward, I told Chris, "Brandon was perfect. It's very hard to get that level of customer service these days." I can't sign off on this review without mentioning Danielle who runs the office. She is knowledgeable, efficient, and unbelievably pleasant. We are beyond satisfied. Great job!
AquaTech did a great job installing my generator in NJ. Originally, another company was supposed to install my generator but that company went bankrupt. Fortunately I found AquaTech and they have generators in stock so I did not have to wait. My installation was complex but the crew was knowledgeable and professional and everything went smoothly. We already had a power outage within 1 month of installation and the generator took over seamlessly. My family said it was the "best investment ever".
Used Chris and company to install a Generac stand-by full house generator. They took care of obtaining all necessary approvals/ permits/inspections and - unlike every other contractor that gave us an estimate - was able to deliver a generator immediately upon issuance of the permits because they maintain an inventory. Installation was on time and completed on date promised, courteous, efficient and professional. All inspections passed. Always responsive to my inquiries. Couldn't ask for better service. Highly recommend.
Chris is absolutely a pleasure to deal with. Very professional. We have a ductless AC split units that were not working properly, Chris and his team found out the problem and fixed it. I just wish I knew about him sooner so we could use his services last year. Highly recommended.
Christopher returned my service call immediately and i was able to schedule a thermostat installation. Very knowledgeable. Answered all my questions. Very happy with his work and very meticulous. Definitely using him again for my furnace and ac needs.
Chris and his whole company are phenonemal! They installed a house generator for my mom (85) in Manalapan NJ and the process was seamless. From the initial contract to getting the HO association board and township approved, to the the install and inspection. The guys were courteous, professional, and patient. No other company should even be considered. The best! Nicole D and Rose S.
Chris' team installed my first whole home generator by Generac. It's incredible how complicated a system it is and how much time as well as effort it takes to install. All of the people have been nice, professional and truly pleasant to deal with. Chris has been wonderful in always being available to answer the endless amount of questions I have. I highly recommend them and plan to use them for future projects at my home.
I met Chris through a friend. At the time we were looking to change our central air units. They were old and inefficient. Constantly breaking down. He came highly recommended. He came by for a free estimate and couldn’t have been more friendly and knowledgeable. We went through all our options. Costs. Etc etc. and it was not a hard decision to go with Aquatech. We were so pleased with the results we also called him when we needed a new furnace. Again, couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Between the initial installation and the follow ups/warranty/ etc and all that comes with such big projects he made the whole process much easier than we ever anticipated. Would recommend Chris and Aquatech ten times out of ten.
I was in need of a new heating/cooling system and Aqua Tech Mechanical was highly recommended. Mr Shaffer met with my wife and I and after our walkthrough I immediately hired his company to tackle my dilemma due to his knowledge and honesty. I was installed 2 condensers, 2 furnaces, and converted my 3 zones to 4 zones with 4 nest thermostats. I am extremely happy with my setup and would like to thank Aqua Tech Mechanical for their professionalism, punctuality and dedication. Their quality of work is amazing and I am extremely happy that I chose them.
I don't like to write negative reviews but this one is a "must". I contacted this company as the only dealer of Trane in Staten Island directed to from Trane website on May 20, 2021. After back and forth with quotes and equipment picking for a week, I and Chris (apparently the owner) agreed on full system replacement that is my old 3ton AC condenser, 100,000 BTUH furnace, coil and blower to equivalent Trane equipment that would include 13 SEER condenser and 80% efficiency furnace of the same output. Since it was a peak season and I wasted 5 days of deciding they were all backed-up and we have set the installation date as June 25, 2021 (one month from that point). My AC was all dead but I somewhat mitigated the heat with portable ACs and I knew what I was signing up to, so I waited. I'd like to point out that I provided all the information about current system and submitted the pictures of equipment labels. As June 26th (we moved installation to Saturday) approached, the "discrepancies" in inventory started to pile up. 1. June 25th, Chris notified me that they had a "discrepancy" in inventory and that they don't have and he does not know when they can have the 3-ton ac condenser he ordered a month ago. Instead he offered me to install the 3 ton RunThru version with a $300 discount (that is a cheaper builders' version equipment with only 5 years warranty instead of 10. I insisted on residential version of condenser either 3 ton or higher, and Chris agreed to put in 3.5 ton instead covering the price difference out of his pocket. 2. Same day his guy dropped off the equipment that had to be installed the next day. I go around the boxes and check the barcodes with my smartphone, it turns out the condenser is 3.5 tons as promised but American Standard not Trane (not something I would fight about), but the biggest problem was the Trane furnace that was 80,000 BTUH input not 100,000. I text to Chris, he checks and it turns out that it is another mistake from the supply chain because they do not make 17.5 inch-wide furnaces of 100,000 BTUH input that was "ordered" a month ago. I wondered, would Chris quietly install the smaller furnace without letting me know if I did not notice? At this point he tried to convince me that for the size of my house the 80k BTUH furnace is appropriate etc. Two days later I called it off. A week ago I had new Rheem equipment installed by NY Mechanical, they changed lines, modified ductwork to fit-in wider furnace, all done on time, without "discrepancies" and few hundreds cheaper. Honestly, the Rheem furnace looks solid and strong in comparison to can-like housing of Trane furnace that had to be installed. Learn on mistakes of others, and don't get cheap-tricked by brand "reputation" and paid reviews.
