    I don’t normally write reviews but feel compelled to share my awesome experience with Fal-Ken Heating & Cooling!!! I called on a Monday to inquire about getting service on my heating system - my elderly mom lives with me so it was important for me to get this fixed as soon as possible! The receptionist was polite as I explained my situation and while she noted the schedule was full for the day, she was going to check with her techs to see if it was possible to get someone to my home that same day. After about 15 minutes, she called me back to confirm a tech would be arriving that afternoon. The tech arrived promptly at the expected arrival time. After checking out my boiler, the tech broke down what the issue was and gave me an estimate on what it would cost to fix it. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I wouldn’t need a new boiler and repairs were at a reasonable price! With professional, courteous and prompt service - everyone should go to Fal-Ken for their heating and cooling needs! I will certainly be back and have already referred them to family members!

    I recently had an issue with a radiant heating zone and had been told by one repair person that it would likely be a very expensive repair and that their company did not work with the radiant heat systems. I then called Fal-Ken and was given an appointment for the next day. Both the office staff and the technicians were responsive, professional and took the time to thoroughly troubleshoot the problem. Afterwards their technician, Mike, took the time to explain what he did and then demonstrated that the system was now working properly!

    HORRIBLE customer service. These guys did some work on our system last year which turned out OK. We wanted to hire them to fix some other issues that came up since then. Chris came out and did an estimate, but after a month we still have not been able to schedule the service. We call the office, and the receptionist has no clue who we are, says they’ll call us back and they never do. We’ve called and texted Chris directly and no response.
    These guys do good work, but that’s not very helpful if you can’t get them to do it!

    I obtained numerous quotes to install a tri-zone mini-ductless in our home. Fal-Ken was among then, not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. I thought about what trucks I see roaming around LI and always remember the Fal-Ken trucks. Chris and his team were professional and honest. They showed up on time and even when we had a small follow-up issue, they were there to fix it. We'll certainly use them again if a need arises in the future.

    The techs do great work, but the customer service is horrifying! Fal-ken normally services us, and as a matter of fact installed our entire climate controlled system at our building. We've paid this company thousands, upon thousands of dollars in work and services AND I DO NOT APPRECIATE BEING TALKED DOWN TO BY A CUSTOMER SERVICE REP WHEN WE NEED SERVICE!! I asked the service rep if we can get serviced today when I called because the heat went out in our office. The woman replied "uh umm, we can't do that, not today". She was ready to hang up on me when I asked if we could schedule an appointment, but by that time I was so stunned and appalled by her immediate response that I asked her what her problem was, and all of sudden she was a nice person? I said i'll use another service and hung up. Why do I have to get upset for Fal-ken reps to be nice??? If I talked to my customers the way I was talked to we'd be out of business. This person needs a lesson in service, and should understand the customers pay her salary. She obviously does not know how to speak to people properly or understand that service is vital to a business, especially a customer that has spent an ungodly amount of money on services! We'll seek a new heating and cooling corp, I'm tired of call them and getting someone who sounds miserable and nasty on the phone. Maybe they should find a new job..

    BEWARE: They do not know what they are doing. Installed a boiler for us and installed it incorrectly. They did to use the proper size pipes, they did not follow manufacturer specifications on the installation and now 7 years later we have to pay thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars to have the boiler repiped and completely re-installed. They did not even bother install the proper accessories that were required for the boiler to run efficiently. The two reputable plumbers who have inspected the boiler both independently said the same thing and both said the installation was a complete train wreck.
