Could not be more pleased. Chris the owner went above and beyond! He explained everything in great detail. Every question I had was easily answered. He did his research and was able to replace my exact boiler with an updated version which was so relieving! His prices were fair and I got exactly what was requested. This company is so professional, knowledgeable and honest. I highly recommend. Punctuality and turn around time is a definite bonus. 10/10 work!

Me and my husband put in a offer on a house, closed and moved in one month. The house didn't have central air and we didn't want to have window ac units. We called Chris and he met us at the house on inspection day, gave us a quote and waited to hear when closing was. Very accommodating. Closing was on July 1st and Chris met us at the house right after and installed the unit. We moved in the next day and it was great to have the house nice and cool. He is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and has affordable prices. We have been in the house almost three months and the ac has worked great. Chris also did some work when we transferred our washer and dryer from the basement to garage. Another great job! Highly recommend Chris and will continue to do business with him in the future.

Our AC stopped working in 2020 and Chris came right out, give us a reasonable estimate. We will definitely be using this service again. He was punctual, fast and detailed with his work. He did a seamless job and cleaned up after himself when done. I highly recommend Home-Tec and plan on using Chris in the future to add a new furnace.

My furnace stopped working in mid-January and I was told I needed a new furnace. After a few phone calls for estimates (and running space heaters for days), I called and spoke with Chris. His quote was not only reasonable, but he was able to get the new furnace installed immediately and without issue. I would highly recommend Chris. Chris Kippen is an independent and self-employed. My home warranty plan company contacted him to complete an inspection of my oil furnace and evaluate if it could be repaired or needed to be replaced.

He came out on Friday March 11th, the day after he was notified. He drew up an estimate and spoke with the warranty company and they agreed to pay almost half of the installation, parts, and labor. He called me back later that evening and stated he checked and the parts were available for pickup and he could start the installation by the following Tuesday or Wednesday.

He surprised me when he contacted me that he could start on Monday March 14th.

I had a couple of estimates from other companies but the soonest an appointment could scheduled for installation would be 1-2 months.

He is a high level technical professional. He's personalable and takes the time to explain options, instructions, and any other pertinent information you need for a smooth transition. He also uses layman's terms ensuring I understood what he told me.

He stated because he's an independent contractor he's able to answer emergency calls and schedule service calls quickly.

His rates are significantly lower than larger companies.

One scale of 1-10, I'd give him an 11 or 12.

Had no heat on the coldest night of the year and was having trouble finding someone to do an emergency call. Found Home-Tec, Chris called me back within 10 minutes, talked me through the process. He came out first thing in the morning and professionally diagnosed problem while explaining everything to me. He sourced the required part and had me up and running in an hour. Would recommend.
