I hired someone to install my split unit at the place of my business. They took a month and did a really bad job. Bright Star came to check out my situation within the week and re-did the whole job in 3 days for less than the price I originally paid. They could have bled me dry because at this point I was really desperate but they did their work with efficiency and integrity. Very grateful to have worked with them and would highly reccommend.

Do not hire this company, they are impossible to communicate with, they will gaslight you and pretend that they dont know what’s wrong with your system, and then overcharge you and make multiple unnecessary visits. For example gave them the entry code to our building so they could come fix our AC while I was at work. Sent it to them by email and text message, they confirmed that they had the code. Then I get a voicemail at work from the owner saying “oh sorry we tried to get in, code didnt work, we have to reschedule”. Then when they eventually came, charged us $1400 to refill our freon. Stay away!!

Bright Star Service did a wonderful job installing a new AC system in my Manhattan Store. They showed up on time with a professional crew who were neat clean took pride in what they were installing. Loyd the owner delivered what he promised and more. This company sets the standard for what all companies should be. Lloyd and his employee Mervyn have consistently provided top shelf service including installation and maintenance of my AC system. I highly recommend the company.

I used Bright Star for 2 jobs for the building that I own. Lloyd and his team fixed a problem I was having with the dryer vent for my tenants, where condensation was backing up when using the dryer. Since that worked out well, I called them again for a different problem with the vent to a new hot water heater that I recently put in. On windy days the pilot light would blow out. Again, they diagnosed the problem, installed a new (smaller) vent pipe, which fixed the problem. Lloyd and his team are experts at diagnosing the problem and proficient at resolving it. I will definitely call Bright Star again for any future problems that I might have.

Lloyd and his crew are very much knowledgeable about the service they provide .As a GC, I have used Bright star services for the pass 4 years with out any issues.

Unsafe work crew. Blocked one way traffic and laughed about traffic jam they created. On top of that, they drove slowly to purposely be a road hazard. A company who cannot control their staff... the very people who represent their brand in Prospect Park. Absolutely not a company I want to hire.
