Last year, my landlord had someone come out to check/maintenance my swamp cooler because it wasn’t blowing out cool air. The man left saying that everything was in order but for the remainder of the summer and during the hottest parts of the day, I was having to spray the unit down with a hose because it was literally blowing out warm air.
Fast forward to this summer when the belt and some bolts broke and we couldn’t find anyone to come out to look at it. The property owner called Pearl Mechanical and, although they were incredibly busy and booked, they found someone to come out. He maintenanced the unit, fixed the bolts, and changed the pump. This may not seem like anything special but the work they said they did, was actually done. When the belt came off right after he left, the worker immediately came back to tighten it and make sure it wouldn’t come off again.
Now, my swamp cooler is working better than ever and reaching cool temperatures in the house, those that I haven’t experienced since the unit was brand new. There is something to be said for standing by your word and not giving a job a careless effort. Pearl Mechanical also replaced my heating unit some years ago and both experiences have shown that they are reliable and that they make sure that their work is of the best quality.

We had a new boiler installed 2 years ago. It never worked correctly. After a dozen or so service attempts it still never worked right. From water pouring from the overflow valve on to our patio and the boiler running continuously even after turning the thermostat off it ran nonstop heating the house to over 80 degrees. Then it completely stopped working for a week while it was snowing. We got excuses after excuses! They admitted to hooking it up wrong which caused it to run continuously and created an over 200 dollar gas bill for the next several months. I called a company from Glorieta to come look at it. They fixed it in 4 hours, and it cost over a thousand dollars to fix what Pearl Mechanical botched up. I would absolutely NOT recommend this company to anyone! I would give them -5 stars if I could!
Can’t wait to hear Al’s excuses!

had them put in a new water heater 2018 seemed that it was installed correctly . Called them to fo maintenance one time "Just to give a local some regular business" gave excuse then it was "out of site out of mind". Called another company to maintain other items then when it came to the water heater the maintenance guy said "He we won't touch it because the company should have used another material because of corrosion " witch it showed. Rio Rancho building city department inspection passed it. Once again another NM shotty low bar both by the city and Pearl " i understand in this State give a $20.00 bill to anyone like that it passes inspection" but thats another story . Called tthem and once again gave a excuse and never called back or came out , par for the Course in this region. The good thing is a reputable person had the dignity and pride not to even work on it but to let know what was up to get a easy buck "Which is typically what is done in small towns and minds". When one doesn't call you back thery dont stand by their work and its par gor the course

Pearl Mechanical was definitely a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ company..
Very responsive and attentive to our needs.
We contacted PM to have a new Heater installed for our elderly mother and I must say, from the first conversation to final day of installation they were top notch..
The installer was punctual/friendly and very honest..
We will definitely recommended to Family and Friends....
Thank you again Pearl Mechanical. 👍🏼

This company installed a central AC system in my house a few years ago. They connected the AC drain line to the PVC drain in the attic and instead of using a T fittinf and hose barb, they drilled a hole through the PVC drain and used tape to hold it in. I didnt have any idea of the situation because it is a good ways into the attic, and found out only because the tape was finally worn out and the clear vinyl hose was in secured and draining water onto the ceiling, causing a leak in my kitchen and damaged sheet rock. This company is a sorry excuse for an HVAC contractor.

We called this company to make an appointment for a definate time to have are AC worked on. It was for 9:00 am in the morning, and I had taken off work for the appointment. So they called like 18 hours before the appointment, and was told that they would not be coming it the morning. I asked why. And was told that they had a more important job. They do not want to keep the appointment they make, and are very rude. I would not trust this company. Also I called and they do not return phone calls.
