Nadeau Mechanical

My A/C went out Jun 23. It's an older system so was worried. He came out and performed several cursory checks. He then put a pressure gauge on my system and told me I likely had a leak and it couldn't be fixed. Pressure was very low. He further checked my compressor and did a "continuity" check on the motor coil and said it was fused - unrepairable. Recommended a new unit, new hose install for $5,000. B.S. Called for second opinion and new guy says, "it's always the capacitor on the compressor." Yep. Had a new one in the truck. Total cost: $250. A/C going strong 30 days later. I will never trust Nadeau ever again. Do NOT recommend.

4 days before Christmas and 3 days before an arctic front was to hit us, our furnace decided to die. Andre from Nadeau Mechanical immediately responded to our call and gave us a quote that was fair and more than competitive. Within 24 hours of the quote, Andre came back and installed our furnace. He then followed up with us to make sure that everything was running smoothly. We were so impressed that we decided to have him install a central AC unit which he completed one week later. We would definitely recommend him to anyone and will certainly use him again! It's also nice to support local business!

TLDR: I'd highly recommend Nadeau Mechanical because Andre goes above and beyond.

Edit 03Feb23: I had an insulation inspection today and the person inspecting my house complimented the insulation around my ductwork.

Andre replaced all my duct work and installed a heat pump for me. I only had one other person give me a quote, but the other company was definitely not to his standard.

When Andre came to give me my quote, he spent the time asking me questions and looking at everything. He made sure to see what way my house was facing so he would know which side of the house was warmer/colder. He looked at where my thermostat was to make sure it would get the most accurate reading. He asked me all the questions I wanted him to plus a few more.

When it came time for the project to start, Andre and his team were on time and completed the project on time. There was one miscommunication about how far into a wall a duct would go, but it was quickly addressed and everything was fine. All told, Andre was probably working at my house for a week to get everything done.

For a month, everything was great. And then the problems started. My new heat pump (being used as AC at the time) would just randomly shut itself off. Andre answered every time I contacted him and worked with me to get a solution. Then fall happened and I wasn't using the heat pump and it fell off my radar. Then winter came and I needed heat and my heat pump was still not working right. Andre again was very responsive to me and making sure I would have heat. He even drove an hour to me at 9pm to make sure I'd have heat. It may have taken 4-5 months to get a permanent solution and Andre may have talked to me and been at my house more than he ever wanted to.

To me he went above and beyond because he had all my money. He did what we had agreed on. And it took a month for any sort of problem to start. But he stuck with me throughout it all and now I have a working HVAC system.

We contacted several HVAC companies, and decided on Bandeau Mechanical because when Andre came out he took the time to go over what we had and what we needed. I again had several companies out and Andre was the only person who thoroughly inspected the duct work only to find mold in the duct work, the previous 3 companies did not. Andre worked with me to get the job done ASAP being we have a special needs child and he was fantastic. He replaced the complete unit and duct being the duct was the old insulation type and was mold infested. After he was done the way he positioned the unit and the vents increased the space in my attic by at least 30 percent
Can not recommend Andre and his company Nadeau Mechanical enough, all of his staff professional, courteous and was a pleasure to deal with them all. 5 star across the board.

Andre not only found the issue and fixed the leak, he saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars being wasted on fuel fill ups. thank you Andre for helping us by showing the system and fixing the issue! 100% recommend.

Andre is a knowledgeable, cooperative and very practical minded professional. He approaches the job with the same vigor be it simple or complex. He is not bothered by challenges and stays focused on finding the most feasible solution. His attitude is also reflected by the members of his team. We have done multiple projects with Nadeau Mechanical and will continue to call on Andre to provide HVAC design and installation on our future projects. I am very pleased with our experience of working with Andre and his team and highly recommend him for any HVAC project.

We used Nadeau Mechanical to install central air in our home. Andre was very knowledgeable and answered ALL of my questions, he even came back a few times to help us figure out the best system for our space. His guys were always on time and extremely neat. Everyone who came through while the duct work was exposed commented on how it was so well done. The Central air is working great. I would highly recommend this company!
