This company deserves 0 stars!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY PREY ON THE ELDERLY AND THEY ARE RIPOFFS!! They sale damaged parts and have a no return policy! These are very expensive parts that these people are selling and they are defective and you will not get your money back! BUYERS BEWARE!!!!

This week I had the dis satisfaction of dealing with United refrigeration on two separate days back to back.
Granite I have never been to this store I had a deadline to meet and was desperate. Being in the service profession. Hvac Certified . I’ve held chief engineer Positions of hotel I’ve been director of maintenance for nursing homes etc. I’m currently a facilities manager for the archdiocese.
I initially came looking for a coupler for 410a ductless ac unit. I called originally the first guy who helped me was fantastic gave me excellent service. Checked me out as i even made a purchase.
After sitting in my vehicle for 5 minutes expecting what I had to work on i consider on going back in to grab some extras parts an options just so I wouldn’t have to make a trip back.
The part I was looking for was an special coupler made for a 3/8 fitting. I asked one of the employees to take a look at a picture to get his opinion.
He instantly gets upset and starts to belittle me in front of his employees and in front of customers.
He told me I didn’t know what I was looking for and he wasn’t going to guess and try to help me.
He then asked me who I worked for as if I didn’t belong there. I still purchased 120$ worth of parts that day.
I come back today and make some returns Shane is helping me he asked me what was wrong with the parts i just explained that they weren’t the right ones.
I told him i was the guy who came in yesterday and was seeking help while his employee refused to help me.
Same guy as the day before jumps in again and tells me I didn’t know what I was looking for. I told him the product I was looking for he told me you didn’t say that.
He said “ I bet you don’t even have a contractors license. Pull it out let me see it.”
He also told me that I was no longer welcome at the store and that they wouldn’t sell to me again and told me don’t come back.
Now as a first timer i would think that customer service would be welcoming and not belittling.
I worked hard to be able to have the right to shop exclusively . My experience was awful i felt lower than dirt.
Even though my company is a big contributor to our community and well respected.
I today was treated like nothing. And was at a loss of words and self respect when I left this store . Is this the kind of service we can come to expect?

I order parts often with United in St Charles, unfortunately my expierence today was less then desirable. Jim the parts counter guy couldnt have been more rude. I called to order a compressor but was told they didnt have in stock but they did at the Hanley store. He said I could call there and I asked didnt he have the capabilities to do that and he laughed at me. After finally agreeing to put it in will call at the Hanley store for me he asked if I needed anything else I replied with no then he just hung up. No confirmation if my order was completed. How disatisfying for such a big company.

I typically deal with Tim on parts and equipment orders, i will say he always gives our company the best service. Tim is always quick to respond to our orders, and very knowledgeable on all products. We are 100% satisfied with their service and pricing.

and as a response to jennifer, This store was set up for contractors, who are ready to place an order. these men behind the counter know everything about the parts they sell and dont have to take crap from anyone. If you give a attitude, youll get one back. Your lucky all he did was hang up. GO JIM!
