    I regretfully write this review. This was my experience. Other experiences may vary. I requested a service call from Metro Mechanical because of an issue that I thought I was having with my A/C unit. Upon arrival, the technician was able to sort out the confusion in less than 5 minutes. No work, just had to explain that the little unit was actually almost double the capacity of the bigger unit (hence the confusion). When I said, “well, this is going to be a really short trip for you” and asked him if I owned him anything, he said $175 (the one hour minimum). It seemed a bit short sighted to treat a customer this way, especially if you want them to call you back the next time they actually have HVAC problems, but..Ok, not the end of the word. I told him to go ahead and do a tune-up or whatever they normally do for pre-summer maintenance. I specifically asked him to check the refrigerant charge on the systems - because that is something I do not have the capability or knowledge to do myself, and this will be our first summer owning this house. He specifically mentioned that he would clean the coils and inspect the electrical system. At the 1 hour point I walked outside and he was just finishing up putting the panels back together from the cleaning. I asked him how the charge looked and he said he did not get to it and indicated if I wanted to get charged another hour (another $175), he could check the charge….“no thanks”. It was at this point that I realized their service was just a rip-off and the trust was gone. I paid the technician and he Immediately departed. With my trust being violated, I felt it necessary to inspected his work. Photos are attached. Apparently, at Metro Mechanical, bare electrical wires pass the electrical inspection. To add insult to injury, the technician didn’t even bother to re-insert the breaker at the electrical disconnects, so neither of the units would turn on. With the trust being gone, and not being an electrician, I had to call another contractor to come finish the job. Just to recap: Their service was overpriced, they didn’t provide the service I asked for or that they agreed to provide, none of the A/C units worked when they left, AND I had to call someone else to come finish their job.

    There was actually MORE disappointment and rip-off, but I’ll stop here.

    It suddenly got hot here in KC, and when we kicked the air conditioner on in our office building, it did not kick back! So we called Metro Mechanical who came here within a half day of us calling them. They diagnosed the problem, put a new part in, and we were back up and running again in no time. Our technician was Matthew, he was super nice and knowledgeable and did a great job. We're very grateful to Metro Mechanical for getting our business going again so fast! Larry Yeatman

    Pat at Metro Mechanical replaced the boiler in my house. They were professional, always on time, and just amazing to work with! I would highly recommend them to anyone. It is so hard to find a trust worthy company but Pat exceeded all of my expectations! Thank you Metro Mechanical!

    I have been doing business with Metro Mechanical for years. Pat has always been an excellent contact for our restaurant is always responsive, timely, helpful, and honest. Lately we've been having Aiden as our technician and he does an excellent job as well. Aiden is friendly and professional. I had seen him in an apprentice capacity for a while and it's exciting to see him on his own because he is killing it. Our last interaction was about a broken freezer and he had it up and running in no time. I honestly couldn't recommend this company enough, I have nothing but great things to say about their work and them as people.

    Metro Mechanical is a great company from my experience. Called them up on a Monday morning around 8:45am needing a clogged sink fixed. The gentleman who answered the phone was polite, took all my info, and got me booked with a tech. They gave me a call ahead of time so I could have a little time to get home from work, and the tech was waiting for me as I pulled in. Showed him the problem areas, and I was back in business by noon the same day. Can't beat that!

    These are the companies I love to find, and they really do deserve their 4.9 star rating. Quick, responsive, affordable, and friendly. I have a plumber now!

    After our AC went out, metro mechanical was not only the most personal contractor we’ve ever used, but also spent time educating us on why they recommend the equipment for our specific house. They were not you average pushy salesman which is why I had full trust in their work.
    They installed a new outdoor unit and furnace for a very compatible and fair price which has worked amazing. Their office staff was excellent in setting up an appointment and finalizing paperwork after the install. Highly recommend!

    The dispatcher called me back first thing in the morning and at 8 o’clock and said a technician would be here between 830 and nine. Aiden was here promptly at 8:30 and looked over the unit and gave me great news— that it just needed a new capacitor. He changed out the part, verified that it was cooling and everything was working properly. He was super polite, informative and professional. We are very pleased with their services.
