Great service. Gibb L. arrived to install a new kitchen sink for my Aunt. From the get go his courteous manners set the tone. He worked above and beyond ensuring a great job well done.

A new plumber named Jeremy at Charles Jones Plumbing provided excellent water heater services to my two attic-located water heaters today. This included removing and replacing two badly deteriorated anode rods (I had very smelly water), and draining and flushing my two 50 gallon water heaters via a hose, into a downstairs second story bathtub. The anode rod relacement was extremely arduous technically. It required some plumbing disassembly and use of a large torque wrench and a heavy duty impact wrench. The job took three hours and cost $321 (I had also earlier purchased the replacement parts myself from Amazon for $50) . While the plumber himself was excellent, scheduling of the job through the owners of Charles Jones plumbing was a very frustrating experience fraught with miscommunication, failed return calls, phone lines not taking messages, and what seemed like poor communication between the answering service and the plumbers themselves. It took nearly two weeks of repeated telephone calls to the front office before I was finally able to orchestrate a plumber‘s actual visit. Clearly there were ongoing staffing and scheduling issues at the home office. Related, I was never put in telephone contact with an actual plumber until the day of my excellent plumber’s visit. He had not been adequately informed of the details my plumbing problems (which I had earlier provided verbally and in writing via the YELP website). As a result, the complex tools that were eventually required to complete the repairs had to be provided from my own professional workshop).
In summary, excellent plumbing knowledge and technical skills performed by a knowledgeable, affable plumbing technician. However very poor front office management by owners who seemed inaccessible, poorly attentive to details, and frankly out of touch.

I called yesterday afternoon and my toilets and a long standing leaky outside faucet are already fixed! Jeremy was prompt, professional, and let us know exactly what he was doing with no surprises! Thanks, Mr Charles Jones, for an honest and reliable business. We got excellent service, just the way you set it up to be.

I was recommended to this company by my friend of 40 years! I was charged $324.00 for an elbow repair under kitchen sink! My dishwasher was leaking and he removed the part and advised me that I would need to find one and have it installed! My hot water was turned off, the dishwasher is pulled out from where it is installed and left! I was promised a call back by female who I initially had spoken with, when I texted her over my dissatisfaction and disappointing service from them! It is 3 30 pm the next day and no call has come!!! Please do not use this company!!!!!!!

The owner Mr Charles Jones and his Technician arrived promptly and were quickly able to unclog my drain keeping the sewer waste from backing up into my house. Thanks Scottie and Mr Jones. Excellent Repair.

UPDATED REVIEW: STILL using Charles Jones - still quality work! Called them and they were out within 30 minutes - got me fixed in an hour. Both guys were very professional and knowledgeable. A lot of places won't work on mobile homes, but they do, so that plus their quality work is exactly why I use them EVERY TIME. I wish they would let me post two positive reviews, but they only let me edit the first one. TEN STARS!!!
FIRST REVIEW FROM 2 YEARS AGO: I've used them twice in the past, one time on an emergency weekend call. They came right out, and saved the day! It's hard to find a company that comes out on the weekends AND works on mobile home plumbing, but they got it taken care of quickly, efficiently, AND affordably - even for a weekend! I will only use them going forward, and I refer them out anytime someone needs a plumber. Thanks, Charles Jones Plumbing!

Called them for a tub faucet install. THE GUY DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO PUT IT IN. Worked on it about 30 minutes then moved on to install the faucet on the sink. Later told me he couldn't do the tub. Still charged me for the 30 minutes he wasted. But it gets better. I had to call another plumber to fix the sink faucet because it wasn't draining properly. Horrible service and $160 Wasted

Step 1...call for service.
Step 2...be told someone will come out the next day.
Step 3...when they don't show, call them back and they will tell you tomorrow. Rinse and repeat step 3 for another day.
Step 4...when they finally show up they are so good that they don't even have to enter your home to diagnose the problem.
Step 5....set up a time for the repair to take place and wait for them to actually show up to do the job 10 days later.
Step 6....pay them right away as they would expect.
Step 7...call them the next day to tell them the issue isn't fixed. Be told see you tomorrow and repeat step 3 several times until finally you get frustrated and you let them know you're not happy with the service and you will get cursed out for free from their techs for having the nerve to complain.
Step 8...call the company owner. Explain to them what the problem is and how you've been treated and you will get an apology and told they will be back out the next day.
Step 9...repeat step 3
Step 10..when they come out this time(almost a month after the initial call) they will actually come inside to evaluate and diagnose the problem and then tell you they will be back the next day with the parts.
Step 11..after replacing the parts they will just charge your credit card they now have on file to ensure prompt payment.
Step 12...call them a few days later to tell them the problem still exists and be told they will be out the next day.
Step 13...repeat step 3
Step 14...call a different plumber.
Step 15...call the BBB and advise everyone you know to avoid this company.

OH MY! This has been a terrible experience. Misrepresentation after misrepresentation. 6/28/2017 I called Jones plumbing and spoke with Linda to request a bid to replumb a small house, one and a half bath, she stated that she would have one of here plumbers call , me to set a visit. 6/30/2017 Bubba (William Noland) came by the house to work up the bid. Bubba seemed to be very knowledgeable, was familiar with what would be needed etc. He obviously had the experience needed. I had several other bids, Bubba’s was not the lowest bid, but based on his knowledge, I agreed to give him the job. He said the job should only take one, maybe two days at the most. 7/3/2017 Bubba showed up at lunch time. I figure I would catch him after lunch, to see what progress was made, discuss work plans etc. He was gone before I could get back. I called Bubba, and he said he would be back the next day to finish. 7/7/2017 I called Bubba again, he said his gout was bad in his foot, he had gone to get some medicine and would be back to finish the following Monday 7/10/2017. 7/10/2017 No Bubba 7/12/2017 I called Bubba and he told me he was too busy and would not be back. I called Linda and Jones Plumbing and asked if she would send someone else to finish. She did not know Bubba had taken the job. She did not know the bid amount – nothing. So I gave her the information. She said she would find someone else to finish. 7/13/2017 Justin called, said he will be here the next day. 7/14/2017 Justin came by, looked over the job and said he would start Monday. 7/17/2017 Justin started today. He finished running the pipe under the house and started on running the pipe to the apartment behind the house. The trench was literally 4 inches deep. I told Justin standard for this area was 12-18 inches deep. He made some calles, then told me he had called one call – before you dig – NOW – and it would be 3 days before he came back. He packed all his stuff, and left. 7/21/2017 One call never came and marked anything and Justin never came back. I called Linda and told her what Justin had told me. She said she would call Justin and find out what was going on. Justin was to call me back and she would follow up to make sure he did. 7/24/2017 No one ever called me back. I called Linda, she told me the same thing she said before. I sit here waiting on a call I don't expect to get. Also, the spare key to the house is now missing. I have not used the key since Justin used the key to open the house the day he started, and now the key is missing, not on the property. Great, now I will have to re-key the house. 7/27/2017 Justin finally called me back, and said, “What’s this about me stealing a key” I said, “The key went missing, I did not say you stole the key. A verbal tirade ensued, I hung up. He calls back, same thing, but added that his attorney was going to sue me and then he hung up. This has gotten completely out of hand and is the most unprofessional situation I have run into.

Angela and Linda are the most pleasant and caring people to talk to on the phone. They sent Bubba out to replace my water heater and you couldn’t of asked for a more pleasant and knowledgeable person to fix anything you would need.... highly recommend Charles plumbing in Pearl MS
