We had a decrepit and poorly installed system from a fly by night company that finally stopped working and left us with no air conditioning. And my wife and I have a husky and we're unable to have this dog in hot weather like this but luckily ran into an employee at Thomas refrigerant who suggested we give his boss a call and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Literally the very next day after contacting them they had a brand new system out and we're hooking it up at the crack of dawn it was running within an hour and it was cool before they left.

My wife and I could not be happier with this company and how they handle everything they were prompt they understood our situation with the the dog and were able to help us out literally less than 24 hours. The text that came out to work on it were incredibly confident well versed in their craft and had us up and running in no time would highly recommend them. I've already pointed a couple of people including my mother in their direction and I'm very confident that everyone will be just as happy as I am. Wish I could say more but five stars isn't enough we'll put it that way.

Thanks again guys you are awesome and no idea how happy you made us it is wonderfully cold in this house right now and I love it. Only thing negative thing I can think to say is that I should have called them sooner thanks again guys.

Thomas REF. CO. initially installed AC in my newly built studio building. They were reasonable in price and did a good job. That was 2001, in 2016 they replace my home inside and outside AC at a fairly good price and changed out my inside unit in the studio building. There was a hiccup or two, but overall they worked hard and I was happy with the job and equipment they sold me. I had to have them come out a time or two for service to replace a thermostat, which they did at no cost to me..That was great..There main technician is very nice and able to troubleshoot an issue and get you up and running. I am calling them back this week to replace the condenser on the outside of my studio building.

PROS --- Decent Pricing, fast service, friendly service techs, and service
AFTER the sale.

CONS --- Nothing that comes to mind

Initial coordination of scheduling was smooth with this company.
A bid was placed, and out of three bids for the meridian area, this was the middle bid. I decided to go with them.
Work was satisfactory however there were some things I suggest you clarify with them, and/or have in writing to make your transaction better than mine.

There were two technicians who came out, I will not give names, who did fine work, but did NOT clean up after themselves. I had an old coil unit replaced in my attic, and there was debris, rusted drip pan, and other chuncks of sheet metal behind the unit. (Out of sight, out of mind) Well, Needless to say, I had to even ASK THEM to take out the old coil they were going to let sit up there. Are you kidding me? Point in case, make sure everyone knows they are cleaning up.

Secondly, they did not program the digital thermostat to make proper use of the heat pump along with the gas furnace. Waking up to 55 degrees in the morning right after Christmas, however, quickly prompted me to call them. They came and sent a third technician who fixed the programming within 20 min.

PROS: Quick to come bid. Quick to schedule, and quick work.
CONS: Not very clean,

Overall observation: They are O.K. but I recommend trying someone else.

Also, make sure you write down EXACTLY what it is they are going to do, when they come bid. What do you want to have done? Replace which parts, seal which parts. All of written down. Don't get burned, because the bidder hardly ever is the one who comes to do the work in any trade.

Just discovered today that the drainage pipe from the drip pan to where it exits into a roof gutter was not in a decline. After discovering a water spot in my attic, I discovered that they did not install the drip pan high enough for the gravity fed pvc pipe to drain water correctly. It was spilling out over the top. Very dissappointed. I made a quick fix by syphoning the water out with another hose(to make the drip pan lift-able) and placing a couple of sheets of 1" plywood underneath so that there is a constant decline to the drain exit. Wow.
