SG Heating & Cooling

My experience with SG Heating and Cooling was great all around. They fit me in very quickly despite the amount of appointments they already had on the calendar. They repaired my crawlspace furnace when other companies couldn't tell me what was wrong. They also installed an brand new AC unit and made a point to bump up the installation before an upcoming heat wave. I felt the charges were very fair and accurate, I felt safe and comfortable with SG H & C technicians in and around my home, and I appreciated how direct and accurate the communication was. Most definitely will be calling them next time something else comes up.

John was very responsive and provided amazing customer service! He responded to my online inquiry within an hour, on a late Sunday evening. He kept me updated on what was going on with our repairs and the parts coming in. Our furnace completely went out on us, on the day of the season's biggest snowstorm and he came to the house and fixed it to get us by until we could get a new furnace installed.

I felt very comfortable having him and his crew in my home. I didn't feel like he was overcharging and he explained everything to me in a way I was able to understand. John will definitely be our go to HVAC guy!

John and SG Heating and Cooling were fantastic. Emails were promptly returned and he even called after closing time to try and help with my issue. He promptly came out and fixed the issue with my AC unit the very next day. All in all, less than a 24 hour turnaround from first contact to the issue being resolved. He did not try to oversell and provided a ton of information for me to make an informed decision. The price for the fix was very good! I have had an excellent experience with S&G Heating and Cooling. They were quick to respond to my request for service. They were half the price of the other Heating Cooling Companies in the area with the same quality of products. I had a furnace and air conditioning unit placed. As a special request, they also hooked up my dishwasher which contractors from Home Depot failed to do twice. I called SG after hours to get a quote on installing central air conditioning. Not only did they answer, but I had a quote in my email an hour after I spoke with the gentleman. They came out a day or two after that, and scheduled me for a week after. They had everything done and installed in a few hours. I was so impressed with how quick and efficient they were. I would recommend them over and over.

Had a new furnace installed. Very professional, they put down carpet runners to protect my floors while coming in and out of the house. Took the time to walk us through how to change the filter, and set the thermostat. Extremely pleased. Highly recommend.

I called SG to look at my furnace after my failing humidifier rendered it inert. John came out the next morning. He described the state of the furnace and what it would take to fix it, as well as the potential issues that could follow. There was no pressure to decide on fixing or replacing, and he was prepared for both scenarios.

We decided to replace due to water damage from the humidifier. John gave us a quote (not estimate) that included everything we needed; furnace, humidifier, wifi thermostat, labor and materials, he even threw in a UV light.

When John came out to install, he was very considerate with my work-from-home situation, but he made sure I knew what he was doing. Afterwards, he ran through everything with me, from the filters to the humidifier setting to the thermostat.

Overall, I understand why no one has anything negative to say about them; they are top-notch in knowledge, quality, and customer service. It is clear that they are part of the community they serve. I highly recommend them, and plan to continue doing business with them in the future.

AC stopped working on hottest day of the year, John was able to come to the house right away, identify and fix the problem in less than 1/2 hour. Would definitely use SG again.
