I had Sherman Heating and Cooling install a new furnace and air conditioner in 2008. The furnace has failed, when I called to ask if the failed part was under warranty the secretary told me my record was probably in an old system. She called the next day to tell me she couldn't find any records of my installation (over $5000 worth ). My children and grandchildren live in my house with me. We have been without heat for a month, using electric heaters while we waited for Sherman crews to show up. They finally showed, verified that the failed part was indeed under warranty and ordered a replacement part. We called and asked when they would return, after two weeks of waiting for a notification that the part was in and that we were still waiting for a serviceman to show up, the secretary told us it wasn't unreasonable to wait a month, denied that it had already been an additional two weeks. At one point she told us we should've called someone else since it was under manufacturer's warranty. Doug Sherman installed the furnace and air conditioner. I'm very disappointed with the lack of follow up service and extremely disgusted with the lack of empathy or courtesy of the secretary.
