We needed to get inspections of our boiler and furnace done, and ended up having Chasco come out. Mark was our inspector, and he was very friendly and upbeat! Very helpful and professional. Chasco also charged 1/2 the price of an inspection we got alittle over a year ago from another company. Highly recommend. We will be future customers

I definitely won’t be recommending this place to any of my family and friends. Had a very specific problem and was told $126 to walk in the door plus whatever part may be needed. That definitely wasn’t the case here. It cost $115 to install a thermostat (plus the $126) that I had to explain to them how to install it because the technician did not know how. I was specifically told $126 and if a part was needed then I would have to pay. I specifically asked over the phone multiple times if it was “$126 flat” and specifically asked about any other costs like labor and she assured me only $126 to walk in the door and parts. The scheduling lady doesn’t remember the conversation going that way and was extremely unprofessional over the phone today. I would have been less frustrated if I was told upfront WHEN I ASKED what the costs were instead of being blind sided. Makes their competitors more intriguing for the future.
*I would give them zero stars if I could.

Everyone I've dealt with from Chasco has been very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. We recently had our fireplace replaced and even though the burner wasn't calibrated right at the factory and had to be replaced the day after installation, the whole replacement process went very smoothly. Chasco even was able to fit us in to their schedule the week before Christmas with short notice. My family wasn't expecting to have our fireplace up and running for the holidays, so it was a lovely surprise that they were able to fit us in and come back the next day to work on it more!

I have a very different experience than the previous review. I was skeptical to call Chasco because the only review listed was 2/5 stars, but I did anyway. I am so glad I did.

Our air conditioner quit working. I called Chasco late afternoon, who scheduled for someone to be out first thing the next morning. Mark was the technician who came out. I was immediately impressed by how prompt (arrived 15 minutes early), courteous, professional, competent, and knowledgeable he was.

Mark spent the time to accurately diagnose our underlying problem, rather than "brush it under the rug" as a previous contractor had done two months prior when we had a problem. (At that time, this other contractor topped our unit off with refrigerant and hit the road). Mark determined there was a massive leak, and very thoroughly laid out our options, what each would entail, and an approximate cost of each.

He was extremely patient, as I asked him if I could call my husband to discuss repair vs purchase of a new unit. He waited patiently while I relayed what I had just been told and then got on the phone with my husband to answer further questions.

We are purchasing a new a/c unit from Chasco, but not because we felt like we had no other options. I so much appreciated how low-pressure Mark was. I felt extremely informed when he left.

Joanne from the office called me the very next day to set up a time for the estimator to come out. She was also extremely accommodating, altering their schedule to allow for my husband to be present around his work schedule.

Thank you, Chasco, for the excellent customer service. Losing air in these hot summer months can be torturous, but you took care of us! In a world where great customer service is not all that common, your company sure stands out! You have our business indefinitely!

We needed repairs to our basement floor and the old water heater needed to be moved for the work. The heater was already twenty years old and we thought it best to buy a new one. I was referenced to Chasco from a friend and am glad I listened to his advice.
Luke, the Chasco representative quoted us a new heater and worked with another crew repairing our basement floor seamlessly.
The installation is sleek, professional, and problem-free. My wife and I recommend Chasco for your heating needs.

On a Friday morning we discovered our furnace was not turning on. We learned the heat exchanger was cracked meaning we would need an entirely new furnace. I called a few HVAC companies in St Johns and Chasco was the only one to answer the phone. They sent a representive out that day which was good. He gave me two options on the quote and told me to call by Tuesday so they could get us in on Thursday. So, I called on Tuesday (granted it was a little late in the day) and they told me they would not be able to install a furnace for 2.5 weeks! If it was just me in the house I probably would have just dealt with the cold but we will have a baby any time now. They seemed indifferent to my predicament. I had no other choice but to call around Lansing. I ended up calling Comfort First who was able to do an instillation *the next day*. I ended up with a better furnace for cheaper than what Chasco quoted me. We also put in an AC unit. When I called Chasco to inform them I was going with another company they didn't seem to care. Indifference again. Act accordingly.

If you looking for a cheaper price, then keep on looking. If you want great service, technical knowledge, and courtesy, stop looking. You found it. Memorial day, no ac. New system, first time using...dead. 90° outside...I called, left a message. Quick response. An hour later I had a technician here. No charge (as expected) . I'm just impressed with that kind of response on Memorial day.
