Stephen and Clark and their team helped alter a heating system during a remodel a few years ago. But more importantly (after consulting other plumbers) they have provided us with a creative and more effecient and professional means to plumb our brand new basement bathroom.

My wife and I have owned homes and businesses in Belmont since 1972; and in these 47 years we have patronized many plumbing and HVAC firms in and near Belmont. In 2005, we found Freiner Co.; and we have never felt a need to look further. Freiner & Co. has been good, competent, knowledgeable, conscientious, careful, trustworthy, prompt, responsible, responsive, even friendly :-) What more can I say? What's not to like? I don't know why more people have not written reviews of Freiner & Co. for Google. I know that plenty of people have reviewed Freiner for Angie's List. (I probably did; but I don't recall; I'm 76 y.o.)

I've used Freiner Company for about 30 years. They've always been prompt, courteous, clean (not unimportant!) and they've responded quickly to all kinds of plumbing disasters. Recommended highly.

It is true that you can expect a prompt response from the company, but if you are ordinary home owner, stay away. This company use to work with organizations and pricing is made appropriately. If you think that replacement of the washing machine valve should take 3 hours ( they are charging per hour) and should cost $860, then you can hire them. To be honest, yes, it was emergency call on Sunday ( which was charged for $250 only for Sunday visit), but still, the price charged for the work done, was way over the top. Needless to say, when I called back trying to re-negotiate this invoice, no one will return your call.

Awesome to work with. THey installed a leak prevention device on our water main. Very responsive to e-mail and awesome to work with in person. Would use again in a heartbeat!

The replaced a failed water heater under warranty -- cost me over $900. Which seems excessive given it was a product they installed that failed. Will be using other vendors in the future.

My heat and hot water went out today. My boiler wasn’t working. They were here within an hour and fixed it. Very professional. Highly recommend.
