Eric, Brenda and company are professional and get the job done. They arrived on time, communicated appropriately, were polite and clean. Brenda, the office manager, is easy to deal with and very responsive. I highly recommend Main Stream Mechanical.

We had a good experience with Main Stream Mechanical this year when we had trouble with our furnace. We have used MSM for our regular service needs for the past few years, so when our furnace was not heating properly we reached out for service. The technician arrived the next day to investigate. By the time he arrived the heat was working, so he told us what to look for the next time it cut out and asked that we call back. So, later that day we called back with the problem code. It was determined after further investigation that we needed a new furnace due to corrosion. We only had to wait one day for the new furnace to arrive and be installed. The service technicians were polite, clean and courteous throughout. Thanks MSM!

I wanted to express my appreciation for the entire team for responding to my call for help. John, who was my “go to” at the office for handling the numerous calls I made in a professional and reassuring manner. Barbara, the office manager, who assured me that no matter what the problem would be fixed and for the extra advice and plumbing ‘education’ she offered me and to the plumber who came to the house to fix the problem the ‘right way’. Main Stream replaced our old oil boiler with a high efficiency natural gas set up. When they came with their proposal, they were the most open and informed of the companies I spoke with.

I once had them come and service my boiler and all was well. However, when my water heater sprung leak and I was looking to find the issue, they charged me $145 (a minimum service fee) for the 5 minutes they spent looking it over. I was told if I did the replacement with them, they would deduct the $145 for the total install.

I had other businesses come later that day for free and ended up going with someone else. I didn't like the feeling of being taken advantage of in a bad situation and forced into a business deal.

I switched from oil to gas in 2013 and Mainstream Mechanical switched out the oil heater and tank and installed the new furnace and water heater. The project was led by Eric and was efficient with minimal disruptions. The system has been carefree and MM cleans it every year. One thing I especially like about MM is that Brenda, who is the friendly voice of MM, and Eric are, to me, MM. Personal connections do count!

We received prompt service when I called to report that our furnace was not heating properly. A service technician came the next day, performed maintenance on the furnace (including removing a bees nest from the duct work!), and told us what to look for over the next day to help diagnose the problem. I called back to report our findings and a second technician came to further investigate, determining the need for a new furnace. Installation was prompt and we've been warm ever since. Thank you!

Main Stream completed a heat conversion for our home - from oil to gas. They were very responsive and informative and covered all the bases, including oil tank removal and help with the mass save rebates. I had a lot of questions that they quickly responded to. There was one issue with the outside venting a week or so after, in which they promptly resolved.

I've done all my heating and plumbing business with this company for years - they have earned my trust and loyalty. Whenever I call them, they are always quick to respond and friendly. And when service is scheduled they always show up on time, if not earlier (calling first to make sure that's okay).

We first were introduced to main stream mechanical in 2008. They had installed havoc and plumbing in our new home. They took the time to review how our new systems worked. Then when we moved, we needed new A/C installed. They were timely, communicated well throughout the process, and price was competive.
