James has been to our house a few times, most recently he discovered we had duct issues. The repair was faster than he originally thought and now not even 24hrs later it is feeling much better in our home. Can't say enough good things.

Old Line came for a leak in my water heater within a few hours of me noticing a leak. Not only was the fix cleanly done, but he explained what he was doing every step of the way and helped me understand what had caused the issue. He gave me tips on maintenance and avoiding similar problems down the line, while also checking my heater to ensure no damage had come from the leak. Really appreciated the honest service and pricing - would strongly recommend!

My wife contacted them and spoke with James. We were unsure if we wanted to replace our heat pump and a/c or install mini split. James came out very professional and we decided on new unit. Price was very fair since we already had some estimates. One week later unit was installed and now very comfortable. Excellent communication, professional and fair prices. Will recommend him to anyone that asks.

We are so happy with the service we got from James and Jen at Old Line Heating and Air! Our heat stopped working on the eve of a multi-day snowstorm during the coldest week of the year. We originally had BlueDot come out, who said the system was not repairable and quoted us $9k for a new one. Looking for a second opinion and/or replacement estimate, we contacted Old Line via Thumbtack around 9pm on a Friday and got an immediate response from Jen, who scheduled a visit for the next morning. When James arrived it was snowing pretty hard -- he was on time, super professional, and did a great job explaining what was going on with our system and the options we had for repairing and/or replacing it. He was able to get the system reliably up and running, and provided us a solution that will get us through at least the rest of the winter before we need to worry about replacing our nearly-end-of-life unit. Their pricing was incredibly reasonable for the work performed, and their quote for a replacement system was more than $3k less than BlueDot's! Thank you so much James and Jen!

I’m really impressed by Old Line Heating and Air. Our HVAC unit was outdated and unfortunately caused water damage in our basement leaving us without AC. They came out quickly to give us a quote. Once we decided to use them they were able to come out the next day. The lady on the phone was very sweet and informative, she got us approved for financing within minutes. We’ve had no issues so far and will use them again for future needs!

I needed my air conditioning unit checked for the summer and used Thumbtack for referrals of companies in my area. James, the owner of Old Line Heat and Air responded immediately. He came out and we spoke for quite awhile. I could tell right away that he was a good guy working hard and building a quality, honest business. My unit was 25 yrs old and he never pressured me to invest in a new unit. I asked him what he thought and the only thing he said was that a new unit would be much more efficient. I asked him the cost, he told me and I set up the appt. for my maintenance. I was so pleased with the job they did that I purchased their maintenance policy. A few weeks later I took the leap and decided to buy a new unit from them. His brother-in-law Will did the installation, leaving no mess behind! The new unit is in, I’m cool and extremely happy that I chose Old Line for the job. They’ll be back in the Fall for my semi annual check up!

Our heat pump/ac had been having issues since we bought the house. After multiple $500 dollar heating bills we had them out. They found the problem and had the $900 dollar part covered under warranty. They even offered us window unit air conditioners to use until the part came in. They kept us informed through the whole process and did everything they said they would and more.

Called this company for 1st time on Sunday, 7/19/20 because my central air broke. It was anticipated to be 100+ degrees that day. The owner of the company was on site within 90 min of my calling and was able to fix the issue very quickly. The service call and repair costs were unbelievably reasonable especially given it was an emergency weekend call. This company is a local, family-owned company that prides itself in providing quality service above industry standard and at a very reasonable cost.

They are very honest and reliable! I Will use them again and again. The work on my hot water heater was professional and clean. All this was done at a modest and very reasonable price. Old line Heating and Air has good Old time customer service. Highly recommend!

Our air conditioning stopped pumping cold air when it became ungodly hot this summer and the owner was able to come out next day to check it out. Let us know we had a few options which was great, so we could commit to what we were most financially comfortable with.

We decided to replace the unit. He let us know the full price up front, scheduled a replacement, and gave our AC a temporary fix that lasted for 2 weeks until they could come out.

Unlike other companies, heating/air or otherwise, they actually came at the time they scheduled for! No huge 4 hour window, just a 30 min window and they came right on time and started work.

While the unit was supposed to be fully replaced that day, they ran into an unforeseen issue that required waiting till next-day for a replacement part. Not only did he sincerely apologize (given it was mid July and 90s-100s that week) but brought us 2 AC window units on loan AND later sent us a gift card as an apology for the discomfort. The job was completed the next afternoon.

We woke up the following day at 4am to a hot house. We texted the owner immediately and, ON A SATURDAY, he came out by 7am and installed a replacement thermostat (ours was old and it was just crazy timing). The pricing through all these hiccups never changed from the original quote and our AC has been perfect since!
