Outstanding service. Mr. Martin Best came to my house on the hottest day of the year in response to my service request. My 15 year old AC system had died on a day when the temperature was 100 degrees outside. He quickly diagnosed the problem and after I inquired about having a new unit installed, his team returned less than 24 hours later and put one in. He was honest, fair, professional, and very thorough in his explanation. Jose and his installers were quick, clean, and had my house cooling off within two hours after arriving. I strongly recommend Best HVAC & Refrigeration. I have dealt with numerous HVAC techs in the 15 years that I have owned this house. Martin Best, is by far-head and shoulders above the rest!!! We are in the process of choosing a contractor to replace our AC and have been in communication with Martin. He was very courteous and professional on his initial visit and has taken the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. I appreciate him taking the time to call me personally as I know he is very busy at this time. Thank you for assisting us in this process!

This was by far the worst experience I’ve had with HVAC repair. My warranty company sent a technical from Best HVAC & Refrigeration out to my residence to access the problem. Once the actual diagnostics, which I was only told verbally, (piping issues causing the water not to drain properly and a malfunctioning actuator) were sent to the warranty company, (which took about a week btw) I found that the warranty did not cover the diagnosis that Best presented. I was still willing to pay for the repairs out of pocket, therefore I called the owner of the company several times trying to get a written copy of the actual diagnosis and the work that was required for repair. I was told it would be provided at first with no problems, but I never received a written diagnosis. The owner eventually just stopped answering my calls, which was extremely unprofessional in my opinion. It was truly a waste of time and energy. I ended up calling the contractors who installed the HVAC originally and they came right out and fixed the problem which was not the same problem the technician from Best had told me verbally. Very unprofessional service. I would not recommend at all.

I would give Best HVAC 3 stars, but Martin has already added a few reviews for himself, so the 2 stars is to even it out.

The team is knowledgeable and gets the work done. The problem is they aren't responsive and drop things the second they're out the door. If you have a continuing issue, it's best to look elsewhere.

Martin said he would order the part but never even returned my calls or texts. He completely abended us with no AC during a heat wave. Avoid at all costs.

I would like to give a shout out to Martin very professional, polite, and dedicated to his profession he was determined to get my AC working even after the initial tech came out weeks before and done absolutely nothing but Martin wouldn’t let that happen because he cares also he explained to my husband and I and gave us clarity about any questions we had Thanks AGAIN MARTIN YOU ARE PHENOMENAL!!!!

Martin came right in and looked at the system with my husband and fixed it in less than 15 seconds. Excellent work!
