Had him give us an exaggerated quote for work that we ended up having done for a fifth of the price. When we let him know that we were going with a different company due to the price differential, his response was, “this is why us contractors don’t want to work with foreigners.” Appalled at that response when he was clearly trying to squeeze money from us based on the neighborhood we live.

Had a new installation project which included two AC Units and two Furnaces. When I started looking for HVAC contractors, had several come to the location to bid, but because we were in the middle of summer 2/3 of the contractors so overly inflated their estimates that I wasn't sure I was going to be able to get it done until after the summer months. Hinds Mechanical came out and walked through their thoughts on the build and turned around with a very competitive bid (not like the other inflated bids). Decided to go this direction and have been very happy with the work, the professionalism and the end results. Steve shows up when he says he will and has good, solid support personnel who not only take care of the build but do the same for the property. Highly recommended!

We highly recommend Hinds Mechanical. Our furnace went out at 5:30 a.m. one recent chilly morning and Steve from Hinds came to the rescue by 7:30 a.m. Steve provided a short-term solution to help get us through the cold weekend while we lined up installation of our new furnace. When it came time to decide on a furnace, Steve gave us a range of options - with pros and cons of each. We ultimately opted to upgrade to the Lennox signature series - and we are so happy we did. It's quiet, highly efficient and we love the new WIFI thermostat! Steve was helpful, on time, provided great communication and even loved on our old rescue dog. We won't work with anyone else when it comes to our HVACC system.

Hinds Mechanical is a class act and i consider Steve to be the best in the business. We used Steve 10 years ago on our NEW house to help us solve a problem. Our new house was HOT in the summer and COLD in the winter. Steve helped us get the RIGHT system in our house. We moved and needed to replace our AC and Furnace. We once again called Steve and we wanted to best system available. Steve team installed the Lennox signature line 99% Furnace with the XC-25 variable capacity. We used to set the thermostat to 72 degrees cold and muggy feeling. This system does such a good job removing humidity we had to set the temp to 74 as 72 is now way to cold. We have air flow in all of the up stairs bedrooms both levels are about the same temp. Highly recommend the system we put in, it was a great value, Very quite, and you should see the steady stream of water going into the drain that the new AC is removing.
We feel like we got a great value and we are confident this system will perform just like our old house and a piece of mind knowing Steve installed it.

**Update** first full bill is down 41.15%.

Here is a snap shot from MidAmerican Previous months range from 50 to 50% more Electric than similar homes. Last month usage was about 12% less than similar homes so quit a drop. We used 32% Less electric than last year. That is HUGE considering we now work from home so the AC is always set to 73 Degrees

Hinds helped me get our furnace going this past february when the weather was all in the negatives. Turns out it was just a clogged air intake but they made sure to fit us in their schedule even though I could tell they were incredibly busy already. I look forward to doing business with them again.
