My mother needed the circuit board in her furnace replaced ($525). The technician tried to sell her an additional service that would cost $600-700, which was refused. She was at work, so I requested that they call when they were ALMOST done so she could meet them and pay for the repair. Instead, he waited until he was finished and charged her an additional $50 for labor because he had to wait. I feel like he took advantage of her, so I will never again use or recommend them.

The service tech was very pleasant and helpful. The company was more interested in selling me a new unit than fixing my unit. I am looking elsewhere for my future needs. It seems odd you have to give yourself five stars under the guise of thanking your valuable customers. How does this accurately reflect user satisfaction when you have family members posting to this site?

Update, I called a different company to finish the job! It took about 45 minutes to resolve the two leaks in the system that Schneider's Tech did not find. The leaks were at the schrader valves. I asked the tech to replace one of the valves because I thought it was leaking. He told me it was fine and did not need replacing. He also told me that each tech is only allowed one valve core with them at a time. The part is available for less than a quarter online and made in the USA. The system has two or more valves. The system was properly charged with R22 and my home is cold. The system has not worked this well in four or five years.

I will never call Schneider for anything. Caveat Emptor. I wished someone would have warned me of their less than ethical business practices and the fact they absolutely do not stand behind their work. My experience was terrible. I called Mr. Schneider and spoke with him personally. He was unwilling to do anything for me. The fact that another HVAC Professional, a true Professional, was able to complete the work in less than an hour leaves me with only one conclusion. They had absolutely no plans to fix my system. They only wanted to sell new equipment.

If you have heating or cooling problems, call these folks. Been wrestling with another company since October, with no heat, these guys came in and 10 minutes later they knew what was wrong, two days later...we have heat! Wish I had call Schneider first!

Garbage company. Say they will come around 10-11am then change to 1pm and then don't show up until 1:30pm. Then they turn on a faucet in the back that has no handle ( FOR A REASON ) with pliers without asking. Floods the basement. Then the guy doesn't take responsibility at all and says we need to reschedule with them because it was our fault for not telling him it was broken. We call heating and air people because we don't know how to do it ourselves so how would we know they need a faucet for it?
Service manager was contacted and he came to the house. All in all passive aggressively says "is my apology good enough?" He said it was all our fault and they owe us nothing.
Don't prepay them for winter and summer heat and air checks. They will flood your basement and take your money and laugh in your face. You lost my business and my friends and family's business.
Shame on your dishonest, passive aggressive company. 🖓

Schneider is always on time. They come every spring and every fall. They are NEVER tried to sell me something I didn't need. They spend about an hour cleaning the unit. You always reach a live person at the office. I could go on and on. They are the only company for us

$150 later and they left me worse off then I was before I called them. I had heat and when they left I had none. Travis the “manager” is very unprofessional and rude. It’s a shame because my mom constantly recommended them to people over the years. After the response I got back from Travis and my lack of service, my family and I will no longer continue service through them.
