Called to s bedule appoint to have AC serviced. They said they do not schedule anymore they will call you the day before arriving and let you know. Since new owner/s have taken over this business in my opinion has went completely down hill!

Best price by far! Field techs were polite, and neat. The office seemed pretty disorganized with a few unavoidable errors ( I never got a call to schedule they just showed up. I was underbilled by about $1,000), unreturned messages. But they were always friendly and honest. The mistakes were in my favor ( It was a welcome surprise when they showed up, and underbilling never makes me mad). I view them as a hardworking, honest company whose low office overhead results in lower costs, and a few extra honest mistakes on the administrative side. I'd call them again without hesitation.

We called into Wheeler Mechanical and spoke directly with the owner Greg. Our central air unit had frozen up. He was at our house within 30 minutes! He was kind, courteous, quick and efficient. Told us what needed to be done. He then got it up and running again! Total Professional! But, our system needed to be cleaned as it was 10 years old. So the very next day his technician came back cleaned the system and did a professional job! He replaced what needed to be replaced was in and out within an hour and a half. Eric was professional, courteous, quick and efficient. Both of these men helped us out and their pricing was very reasonable. We are extremely grateful! Thank you Wheeler Mechanical!!

I contracted Wheeler Mechanical Services to order and install a home water filter. The staff that installed my filter was outstanding. They were very professional, answered all my questions, and provided advice related to the filter and other mechanical household related items. I greatly appreciate Wheeler's exceptional service, value and communication.

Found this company, of all places, on Craigslist. I had a couple of quotes from companies to come replace my outside hydrant / spigot. One was $130 and the other was $190. The problem was that neither company was very easy to schedule due to the small size of the job. Wheeler was great on the phone, good scheduling and good communications. The plumber that showed up did a very good job. He was at my house just under two hours. The shock came when I go charged $267. That's a 100% markup on parts and $100 per hour for a non-emergency call. I paid the bill but will not call them for service again. I should've gotten a quote first but I did not even dream they would be almost 2 times the price of the competition.

Professional, neat and first-quality workmanship. Greg and Tyler did the complete furnace and A/C replacement perfectly. There is absolutely nothing to find fault with (and I'm an engineer.) Normally I hate dealing with contractors--Wheeler Mechanical is the exception.

Bought a home that needed repair to sump pump and Wheeler was chosen by the previous homeowners to do the work. Despite the good work they did, I would not recommend them to anyone. I called to schedule, owner said he would have to get back with me, never did. Two weeks went by, called to schedule, and made an appointment. Then they cancelled my appointment the day before. Said they would call to verify if the day I asked for if it would work with their schedule and never heard back. That morning I get a call saying his workers are at my home (not living there, but renovating)...whatever no problem, I will be there in 15 minutes. I am 3 minutes away from the house when the owner calls me back to tell me he told the workers BROKE IN THROUGH MY BATHROOM WINDOW and he ENCOURAGED them to do so. He actually laughed about it on the phone and told me "no need to stop by, they're good to go". In my shock I didn't know what to say...I showed up at the house, introduced myself to the workers and never did either guy give me their name. They finished the work and left...leaving behind a horrible muddy, concrete mess on about 150 sq. feet of my basement floor (which they did say there is a little bit to clean up, but not too bad). Well it is a few months later and I am still cleaning up, because all it does is smear. I did contact them about things afterwards and they offered to come out, but only did I receive last minute calls from them passing through town to do it, which doesn't work out with my work schedule. Eventually I just stopped answering the calls... It is very unfortunate the professionalism I received from this company because the mechanical work they did is actually great.

I had a complete HVAC system (new furnace, AC, duct work) installed and couldn't be more pleased. Greg was easy to work with, quickly got me a quote, and worked within my needed timeline. He asked what we wanted, shared what he recommended, and explained the system to us. Greg helped secure the necessary permits and inspections for us to get our gas service set up with NIPSCO. Also... Wheeler beat a competitor's price by several hundred dollars, and provided an excellent system that allows our house to be zoned so that the upstairs and downstairs are properly regulated to our comfort preferences. We love it! They seem to truly understand how to ensure best air flow!! Greg, Pat, and Aaron did excellent work. Thank you Wheeler Mechanical!! Anyone looking for a professional team that is hard-working, honest, and competent should make their first call to Wheeler Mechanical... you won't regret it!

These guys are the best!! This year & last year, our furnace quit working on Christmas Eve. They were at our house within an hour! They got it repaired (no high pressure "you need a new furnace" b.s. that we got from a different company) and sent us a bill. MUCH appreciated at Christmas time. Can't say enough good about them.

Jake's service was excellent. Arrived timely, I had a clog that turned out to be a devil, all the way into the system. He worked through everything and got us taken care of. Very pleased.
