A & R Mechanical Contractors

I have been working for them through a local labor hall. I was discriminated against, demeanered, and spoken to as if I was his house neuro yesterday.Blamed for their poor quality of work, and constant barrage of mistakes. The project manager Andrew Frank spoke to me as if I was nothing. In spite of the fact that I had absolutely nothing to do with A%R ounce again getting reprimand for not doing their job. All of this was retaliation because they had violated union rules by laying me off, and they lied about it and were forced to call me back! My Forman doesn't even tell me what tasks I have to do. I am reporting this business to the Department of Labor today, as well as the EEOC

If I could add photos I would. These guys were hired by a site management company to assist in getting a job done quicker. The so called professionals who they sent to the site stated they had been doing this for 3 to 7 years. It was immediately obvious by the first day that they had no experience or pride in their work. It was all about how many feet of pipe they could get up as quickly as possible. The 4 two story buildings which are from the 1940s, were gutted and a state of the art A/C system was being installed. There was no communication, from these guys to any of the other trades. The work was sloppy and most of the time had to be torn down and redone to allow for electrical, data and other equipment installers to be able to get their items installed. They kept referring to the plans and the site management company for guidance rather than using common sense and speaking to other trades to make sure no one would run into problems. These building weren't designed for this system, but working with others and listening to the foreman of the company hired to do the job would have alleviated the headache and extra work these guys created for everyone, so they could make a quick buck. I would never hire these guys, and definitely never ever work with them or for them. Ive been in the industry since 2001 and never have I seen anything so poorly done.

Have been using A&R for a while at the building I work at. A&R has always responded no matter the time of day or night. With the best of customer service. The employee Jim Means is by far the politest and most professional service tech I have ever dealt with. He and the gentleman Tim have always showed kindness and understanding to the residents here. I recommend A&R for any service you may need.

These guys are the best. Josh came at 7:00 p.m. and replaced our sump pump. He was quick and efficient. His demeanor helped us at a very stressful time of a basement flooded. Great job!

It is great. I know because my father works as a construction worker there. The people are nice and helpful. All you people giving negative reviews are wrong.

We've had both repairs and installations done by A & R. (Boiler and furnace.) In all cases, they did good work at a good price with minimal disruption to the house.

Live all the Personel that I worked for and around . Great people !
