Pat was very thorough explaining to me so I could understand my furnace issues and communicating to me that it was not necessary to have the gas turned off to the furnace as recommended by a previous contractor. The tech who came and fulfilled the furnace work was professional and kind enough to explain in further detail any questions I had. I finally feel like I have someone to rely on for honest good work.

They came out the same day and installed a new thermostat. They completed the job in less than 90 minutes and the price was very competitive. Will definitely use again!

Elgin Sheet Metal completed our first annual furnace & ac maintenance check up on our recently installed system. Service man was on time and thoroughly inspected and tuned up our furnace and ac.

ESM has serviced our home furnace and a.c. for nearly 20 years, and have provided reliable, quality service. They installed a new Carrier furnace that required extensive repairs last winter after 8 years of service, at a substantial cost to us. ESM also installed a new furnace for us at another property in about year 2008, on short notice, and has serviced it since with no further costs beyond the routine service calls. They have been prompt, professional and knowledgeable in servicing our heating and a.c. needs.

Elgin Sheet Metal installed a new system at our house back in September. The modulating gas furnace gave us very even temperatures in each room and also the lowest gas bill we have ever seen living here the past 14 winters! We can't wait for summer to see how the new variable capacity air conditioner does!

A big thanks to Todd for solving our thermostat problem. It was out of warranty and he was able to fix it rather than selling us a new one for $700.00. That is what you call good service from Elgin Sheet Metal.

My furnace wasn’t staying on kept shutting off. Had them come out. I thought the issue was fixed and it wasn’t. Called them again, on a Saturday wouldn’t stand by the work they did they were going to charge me an emergency fee. They didn’t know what it would be. I already paid $145 for the initial visit which was to just remove a dirty filter. Do not use this company

I have Elgin Sheet Metal service my heating and air conditioner every year and wouldn't consider anyone else, I have been dealing with them for at least 20 years or more. They are the best!
