When a contractor tore a 3 ft. line in my underground loop system in my Geothermal System, Design Air sent out technicians that PROPERLY fixed the loop and refilled the system with the proper liquids required.The 3 technicians were very professional and courteous during the day they spent here.
I would highly recommend Design Air ...A+ service...👍

Things were pretty bad with my unit.

It started on a Thursday and didn't get fixed until the following Tuesday. However it wasn't because they didn't try to get it running. Several parts had to be replace as they got into it to find the problem. There were several problems. The first person worked hard and got to several things but it still wasn't working. Then they sent out their most experience person and he found the last issues and got them fixed.

It was a long 5/6 days in high heat. But there were 3-4 issues and they got it ALL fixed. They did a very good job and were courteous to work with. I think I had an unusual difficult situation. My unit was under warranty so parts were covered and I think they were fair on the charges for labor.

I would give them 4 1/2 out of 5 stars.

I job shadowed with Design-Air for my final with MTI. They are a wonderful company and their service men are highly educated and respectful! Definitely one of the best companies around the central Illinois region!

I called 9/23/21 made an appointment for 9/28/21 @ 10 am to get estimate to run new ductwork. At around 2 to 3 pm I called company as no one showed up. Guy came out did estimate. I stressed how important this was to get job done. 9/29/21 received email with estimate. I sent reply back asking questions. No response. 10/4/21 sent another email, no response. Called company to discuss estimate. Guy verified that he received my email with signed contract. He stated he would have Josh call me. 10/4/21 no call back, 10/5/21 still no call back. 10/7/21 I called company back talked to Tina about not getting any calls back. She would let them know to call me. 10/12/21 I once again called company. Told Tina I have not received any return calls an if they are so busy an cannot do the job to let me know. She stated once again she would let them know. 10/13/21 still no return call. I am not impressed with this company an I do not recommend doing business with them. So now I am left scrambling trying to find another company to do the job after wasting over 2 weeks on Design Air.

I called today to ask about an appointment but had an (important to me) request; since the tech would need to enter my house I asked if I could have someone who has received a Covid vaccine. Our reasons are our own and I'm not going to weigh in on my feelings in this matter. The woman on the phone was very polite and told me she would check with the owner and get back to me. She did so within a few minutes, again very polite and respectful, but told me it was company policy not ask about vaccination so that they were in compliance with the law. I will not argue this point but, what I will say is that I cannot do business with Design Air currently and I felt the reason why was worth sharing if anyone is concerned about this topic for their household.

Design-Air is a awesome locally family run company! Rich and I are very blessed with our new system! Christine and Jim worked very diligently to find the best system for the best price for our needs! We are still in awe of they system they set us up with! They even found a program from Ameren to help us with the cost of the very nice system! Their technicians were very knowledgeable as well as kind in their instructions to us!

We will recommend Design-Air to everyone looking for Heating and Air System needs!

I used Design Air for installing a new geothermal unit that replaced my conventional furnace and air conditioner. Their quote for geothermal was the best price I got when compared to other places. They are kind and courteous. They also got the job done in a reasonable manner. Cleaned up after they were done. They sell Water Furnace brand geothermal units which is a trusted brand. The geothermal unit has been up and running for around three weeks so far and no problems or issues. I really like the geothermal and the work that Design Air did. Looking forward to a lasting relationship with Design Air as they continue to service the new geothermal in the years to come.

Called design air when AC unit wasn’t working at 6:00 pm (after hours). The owner called back about 40 minutes later and came to our house to fix the issue by 9:30pm. Great, professional service. Highly Recommend!

A Technician showed up first thing in the morning after I called about my central air unit not working. The Tech troubleshot my situation and got my unit back in business. The customer service was second to none. The Tech was very knowledgeable and had no problem answering the many questions I had.

Design Air was great! Two winters ago my furnace went out. They were out within 2 hours of calling - after hours - and were back early the next day and had it done by early afternoon. Very efficient and caring.
