I can't speak more highly about Rob from City & Suburban Heating and Cooling. This is the second time we've used him and on both occasions, he's been professional, timely, and efficient. Our first encounter was just a general check of our HVAC system soon after we moved in to confirm that everything was working properly. He told me about the unit, answered all of my questions, and made recommendations about how often things should be serviced and filters need to be changed. This second occasion was a little bit more dire. I'm 8 month pregnant, it's very hot out in June, and I realized that our air conditioning wasn't working on a Saturday morning. I called Rob, left a voicemail, and he called me back within 10 minutes offering his first available appointment the upcoming Monday. He arrived on time, quickly identified the problem, went to get the additional part needed, and return to complete the job that same day. He told us what to look out for and how to manage the issue we had in the future. Highly recommend.

Our furnace broke yesterday. We had appts with multiple companies and the one that came out first gave us a quote on a broken part. We almost went with them, but the appt window they offered for the repair would have been too long to wait. The next appt we had was with Rob from City & Suburban Heating & Cooling. He was very responsive, good communication, and worked around our hectic schedule with everything going on. We asked Rob if he was able to replace the part the first company said was broken and if he could give us a rough estimate. He said yes, gave a rough estimate, and said he just would want to assess the furnace first. Understandable. His quote was also extremely less than the first company and the third company we spoke to. He came in, and in half the time the other company took, told me that it was a completely different part that needed to be replaced. He seemed more confident in his assessment than the first company did so I agreed. He quickly left, got the replacement part, and installed it. His thorough and honest assessment saved us at least a couple thousand dollars of trouble shooting with the other companies. We are very grateful and highly recommend City & Suburban Heating & Cooling.

We called City & Suburban with furnace issues in the morning and Rob came out later that day. He diagnosed the problem, ordered the necessary part, and had it finished the next day when the part came in. It couldn't have went smoother. Highly recommend!

My furnace went out, so I contacted City and Suburban Heating and Cooling to set up an appointment to get it checked out. Rob, the service tech, showed up on time to help me out. He told me he had to change out one part to get it up and running again, which he did in a very timely manner. And, without breaking the bank. I would highly recommend City and Suburban Heating and Cooling and will use them again in the future.

We recently noticed that our roof air conditioning unit was leaking a greenish liquid and making a lot of noise, both inside and outside of our condo, so we called City & Suburban Heating & Cooling to take a look. Rob was prompt in his response and we were able to schedule an appointment on Monday of Labor Day weekend. He came by and told us the liquid was nothing to worry about as it was actually just the result of our copper pipes oxidizing. To address the noise issue, he added more freon to our unit, added some extra insulation to cut down on vibrations and replaced a part. He was fast, reasonably priced and our unit has been super-quiet ever since — we would definitely use him again.

Called when our A/C didn't seem to be working and Rob was out here the next day. Quickly added more refrigerant as well as a sealant to help stop the leak. Very professional and prompt service.

I've had two different furnaces repaired by Rob at City and Suburban. He is friendly, trustworthy, and fair. Would recommend!

Rob is the best!! He was super quick to get back to me and he fixed the problem right away! I will definitely be calling him if I ever have any issues in the future. He also loves dogs!
