Abe provided excellent and responsive service, from the quote to installation day. My HVAC for this job was located in a small condo closet, and Abe found an effective unit that fit the small configurations, and also did great work in a confined space. Most of all, despite inflation in the months intervening between the quote and installation, Abe kept his price and was honest to the end of the process. I would highly recommend Abe for these reasons.

I live in a condo building and the condo association contractor I felt was ripping me off by saying I needed Freon added every year. I checked for other contractors and Abe was highly recommended. He came out and checked everything and fixed a bad capacitor and got my unit up and running. He checked the Freon level and it was perfect. He could have said I needed Freon and charged me a bundle as the Freon in my unit is very expensive and could have also said I need a new unit. But, he didn’t and I am grateful. I highly recommend him for his professionalism and honesty.

Abe is knowledgeable and dependable. His no nonsense, consultative approach is rare in any service business. No upselling, provides honest opinion and warns of risks of taking low cost approach. Super friendly too🙂

Abe was great. I'd gotten a first diagnosis on my non-responsive furnace from a big company, one that's been around for 70 years, hundreds of five-star ratings, etc. They wanted $1620 to replace a draft inducer in my furnace... but (for a limited time only!) I could knock $520 off if I got on their maintenance plan. That's an hour of work to replace a part that costs just a few hundred dollars (I looked it up). Criminal. I looked Abe up and called him for a second opinion. Here's the kicker: Abe came out and discovered there was nothing wrong with the inducer at all; it just wasn't getting power from my circuit board. He even rigged some power up to it to show me. We got the repair done for significantly less. Oh, and he didn't try to scam me into getting a maintenance plan for god knows how much.

I'll be using Abe from now on.

I have used Abe multiple times and have only had positive experiences. When our furnace needed to be fixed in the middle of the winter, Abe took care of it extremely quickly.

Whether it’s dealing with our heating or our AC, I’ve always found that Abe is extremely easy to work with. He answered all of our questions and you can just tell that he is very honest and doesn’t play games. There is never any bait and switch. Abe was a lifesaver for us, with temperatures predicted in the upper 90s in the upcoming week. He came out the same day, and had my a/c fixed in minutes! Very fair rates, too. I'll use A1 anytime I need service in the future, for sure.

I had called around to several HVAC companies in the area after our AC unit went out following three days of +90 degree days. A tech from another company came out and diagnosed the problem saying our best bet was to replace the failed 16 year old unit. They wouldn’t be able to get someone out to us for 3 weeks to give a quote on a new install. We couldn’t wait that long without AC - we have kids and dogs. I decided to make a few more calls for quicker service and Abe showed up the next day, gave us a reasonable quote, and installed the new unit the next day. It’s working so well! I really appreciate that he’s a small business, installed a high quality unit quicker than the competition, and he stands behind his work.
