My furnace went out and also needed Acentral air unit, I tried a few companies but none matched up to McGinnis! Jim called me from his hospital bed to make sure things were right! This is a family ran business and they took pride in their work! From the daughter in the office, to the son Who installed, and to the father the owner who was very pleasant! I recommend McGinnis they had it done in less than a day! GetWell soon Jim!

I moved into a newly renovated apartment 9 months ago. HVAC system newly installed by McGinnis. We notices towards the end of May when we started using the system ,that the airflow in our two back bedrooms was extremely weak. To the point that if you stood directly under the vent opening you could not feel air blowing. Due to the weak flow of air in the bedrooms, tempters reached as high as 75 and 80 in July and August of this past summer with the AIR ON. The airflow in the front of the apartment is very strong and can be felt from 5 feet or more away from the vent.

McGinnis was contacted about 7 months ago , we asked that a manual damper be placed inside the hallway duct to better manage and even out the flow of air between the front and back of the apartment. Since the vents McGinnis installed in the front of our apartment are commercial vents and not residential ,we cant close them off. Dan came out and placed a half metal plate under the vent cover as seen in photo 2 , then moved the plastic slates in different directions as seen in photo 3 , and classified this as closing the vents off. As you can see the vents are still clearly open as they can not be closed because of the type of vent installed. We have since found out that our HVAC unit has been heating and cooling the atrium outside of our apartment as seen in photo 4 , but no one at McGinnis seems to know how that happened.

So were are we today: For the last 8 months we have been paying to heat and cool an area outside of our apartment . The requested damper has not been installed. The 2 back bedrooms are still uncomfortable. Dan's most resent resolution was to run the blower non-stop. To say were frustrated with this company is an understatement.

They do excellent work and go beyond what any one would expect. They take pride in their work and make sure everythings done correctly and is in working order. No cutting of corners with these guys. Reasonable price wise as well.

Came out day of, looked up part under warranty, replaced in 45 min while kids slept. Charged service fee only. Super grateful.
