Lessoned learned. Trevor installed a new Bryant central air unit in May 2016. It stopped working 2 weeks after it was installed. I contacted Trevor and he came out and fixed it. Not sure what the problem was, but it was working, so I was happy. Fast forward to Sunday, July 17th, 2016...The unit stopped working again. I contacted Trevor, and he told me that he'd be there Monday evening or Tuesday morning at the very latest. I hadn't heard from Trevor by 9:30am Tuesday, so I sent him a text message asking when he thought he'd be by. No response. I texted him in the evening pleading with him to come and look at the unit. It is 95 degrees out and I live in an upper apartment unit. Trevor told me that he was swamped and that I am not his only customer, and that there were 150 people in front of me, so to get in line. Needless to say, I had a few choice words for Trevor. I contacted Axberg Heating. They told me that the problem was that the installer (Trevor) overcharged the system with way too much coolant, and that the settings were all off. If it weren't for the unit having a safety mechanism, the condenser would have been trashed. It cost me $323.00 just to fix what Trevor did. Trevor is highly unprofessional, doesn't take responsibility, and doesn't do what he says he will do. Do yourself a favor, and call a reputable company. This guy is a one trick pony that has no customer service skills and it will cost you more money in the end. Call Axberg, Rockford Heating, Allen, Pearson, etc. Anyone but this guy.

This wonderful man came and installed my furnace and even made payment arrangements for me. As a divorcee, disabled mom of four special needs children he accomdated me financially and even moved other appointments around so that we could have heat before the deep freeze hit us in December. I gave this man 5 stars and I highly recommend this man for other families to have their furnace worked on or even installed.

We first found out about half price heating & cooling during the Boone County Fair, Summer of 2019. While interested, we didn't have a need right then but just two months later we did. Our 1994 furnace transformer and motherboard burned up. Due to its age and our AC units age, we had both replaced. We called around to compare prices and not surprising, nobody else could come close to it. Thank you!

Do not contract this guy if you don't have to! He is very unprofessional, he will give you a date and time to show up and he won't! He was working on my furnace and couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. Instead of telling me he couldn't figure out the problem he didn't answer his phone. I called him with another cell phone, and sure enough he answered. When I was asking him why he wouldn't answer my calls, he claimed he wasn't Trevor, he said he was Trevors brother. Even though it was his cell phone, and he is the only one that uses it. This guy plays too many games!

With this company you get what you pay for , they came and put in our new ac unit but the problem is that they cut wires on our furnace that should have never been cut the guy who did it should not be out there doing this he had to keep calling someone named keith on how to fix it but when this guy showed up he was no better we had to go to another company to have them fix all the problems this guy caused

I wouldn't recommend this company to anybody. The guy will give you a date and time, and wont show up. He was supposed to come install an ac at my house, and didn't show up. I called and called and he wouldn't answer. Finally he answered a day after, and said he didn't have time. If you don't want to play games look elsewhere.

I called to see if he could help with finishing the install of a unit to be insulted. The man does not know me from Adam but feels he can judge me. I explained that my husband has the unit on the roof with the pipes there and electrical working, that we needed someone to come a Braise the pipes and charge the unit. He rudely respond “I don’t mean to be rude but if you don’t know what you are doing why would you do it” Excuse me but we have completely rehabbed a 5400 square foot house all by ourselves from electrical to plumbing to drywall... you get the picture. We just needed him to come finish it because we do not own a Braise tool and also wanted to make sure it was done correctly due to the pressure in the line. I would not recommend this guy to anyone. I will tell everyone I know...which is a ton of people since I live in his town and have for 25 years to not use him.

Half Price Heating and cooling was very dependable and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be using them the next time we have a furnace or ac issue

Trevor does excellent work at affordable prices and he has the expertise to handle any HVAC work great to work with i highly recommend him

Quick, easy process. Great communication, would definitely recommend to everyone. Very affordable, will be my go-to heating and air conditioning business!
