I worked for Jeff for a little over a year full time, and part time during the summers since 2018. Overall this is a great company to work for. My biggest complaints with HVAC companies is the integrity, Jeff is not the kind of guy to rip you off if you are a customer or employee. As far as the two previous reviews from previous employees, all I have to to say is that you need to know the full story before assuming their reviews are fully accurate. When the slow season comes Jeff will find you work to do in between calls. Some days you may be taking old units apart and scrapping them and others you may be trimming hedges. Just know, you will never go without a paycheck. He doesn’t force you to do any of the things I listed but if you want the hours then you have to do the work. It’s a great time to relax from the Summer season, where you are working 10-12 hours days non stop in the 100° heat and 140° attic heat. Overall great company.
I am very pleased with this company. Everyone was so professional and friendly and made sure everything was back to where they got it and they cleaned up after themselves. Definitely recommend this company. Professional trucks, wears uniforms and Jeff, Josh, and his crew answered all our questions. Thank you guys!
Jeff had someone at my home within an hour of my call. My unit is 14 years old. I was expecting the technician to tell me I need a full system replacement. Not so! The problem was a bad capacitor. Diagnosed, replaced and repaired withing 15 minutes. Highly recommended!
Words of caution do not work for this business. owner will talk highly about training you and giving you the business. Don't be fooled it's all talk nothing more the moment business slows he will fire you without provocations. Then he will go as far to write some outlandish statement on your separation notice to prevent the possibility of you persuing workers compensation. Furthermore if you do have the pleasure of working for him you will be doing his chores more than half the time, not heating and air. If you have a family and or bills steer clear of this scandalous business.
The owner has blocked my number and my husbands. His last day of work before he voluntarily left the company was 5/25, his check for 5/21-5/25 was to be cut 6/1. The owner Jeff said he would look into it, and now refuses to answer messages on the business phone and has blocked all numbers when we try to reach out to him. What type of business owner refuses their employees last paycheck? He claims to be a christian man, but what type of human, christian or not refuses to pay an employee for work performed? My husband was away from his family in the heat for 50 hours the week of 5/21-5/25 and has nothing to show for it. Give your business to a reputable company!
