First off Matt has always fit me in when I called for service his responsiveness is commendable.

In 2018 Arnold HVAC installed a new 5 ton system in my home. With a lifetime warranty on parts and service calls that are covered by the warranty
After installation Matt requested to keep old unit in my attic as it made servicing new unit easier I asked him to remove it.
2 years ago I called Matt and told him my defroster on outside unit was not working. He came out on Saturday and did a test but could duplicate problem I showed him video of how it was not working he then called e tech service and tech service talked him through a work around and it showed fault. Last year the defroster failed again and Matt promptly replaced it

NOW THE BAD!!
On 10/13/2022 I called GEORGIA AIR to service my unit . When the service guy showed up he had his own stand to get to the unit. I was up there when the tech was working on the unit he asked me jokingly “ did I install this “with a chuckle. I said no why
He found over flow drain taped over and not plumbed, and he said drain pan should be hooked up. Due to over flow drain not being hooked up the in side of the unit was flooded with water, and black mold in my unit. They cleaned the unit the best he could and removed as much water as he could but he said “ this was sloppy installation”

I feel now that Matt will no longer service my unit and the sloppy installation it was a breach of contract on Matt’s end.
If Arnold HVAC installed your unit you may want to have it inspected by another vendor.

Attached are photos of drain pan drain not attached, overflow drain not plumbed with tape over it and the water logged soaked insulation on the unit.

More recently, when our second system stopped working Matt showed up and found a minor wiring issue and had it fixed in 30 minutes. We were prepared to replace the entire system and I have no doubt most other HVAC companies would have pushed us to replace vs. keep it going with an inexpensive repair. Matt and the rest of the Arnold's Heating and Air team have my trust - we'll be a lifetime customer.
