I've been a customer of Corbin Comfort Systems for years. Yesterday, my son, a 1st time homeowner, came home to a HOT house! He called the office and was given a time that the technician would arrive today. He came well within the quoted time window, and the repair was made it an extremely courteous, expert, professional, and reasonably priced fashion. He simply needed a replacement part, and there was NO attempt to up-sell, etc. I highly recommend Corbin Comfort Systems for all your heating and air conditioning needs, and wouldn't think of calling anyone else!

Corbin Comfort Systems has provided service for my HV/AC systems for over 20 years - maintaining our systems and most recently, replacing units as necessary. Their knowledge and the care given in providing service gives me a great sense of security and trust in the quality of their work.

When I stated looking for a new HVAC system I first called the Big Name advertisers. A neighbor suggested I give Corbin a call. I’m happy I did. The price for a comparable system was about 25% less than the man for all seasons, the people with the stadium and the other cool guy. Somebody has to pay for all that advertising. But most important, while the big guys had very nice, knowledgeable salesman; they were just that salesmen. With Corbin I was dealing with Mr. Corbin. His installer Jason has been with him for over 20 years. I feel I got the best price and service.

Corbin installed my original two HVAC Systems (upstairs & downstairs) 28 years ago. My downstairs system died last week and they came out quickly and installed a new system in 8 to 9 hours. System is perfect and works so well. Installers (James & Jason) are very professional, courteous, & knowledgeable. Excellent price for system & installation as compared to two other HVAC companies. 100% recommendation for Corbin Comfort Systems.

I have used Corbin Comfort Systems for the past 13 years. However, I'm not as confident today in their services or their responsiveness. I paid Corbin Comfort Systems a week ago to repair my air system. Today it completely stopped working again. It's 81 degrees inside my house! So, I called their main line, which directed me to hang up and dial their "immediate need line." I did that and left a message. No one called back "immediately" or at all. So, then an hour and a half later I left a message asking for help on their Facebook page, and I finally got a call back. Needless to say, that call left me thinking they didn't give a darn about my air system or the fact that I already paid them to fix it. Goodness, this experience was a complete departure from the usual with this company.
I chose to go with a competitor who was responsive and seemed to actually care to fix the problem, unlike Corbin Comfort Systems. I paid the competitor rather than deal with Corbin Comfort Systems one more time. (By the way, that was the owner who I spoke with last Sunday.)

I have used Corbin Comfort Systems for almost 28 years as they have handled the maintenance on my HVAC. They have been very responsive, professional, they show up when expected and the value is worth it. I am very pleased with Corbin Comfort Systems.

Corbin installed our system 7 years ago and, until now, we HAD been fine with their service. But our experience with them today has caused us to seek another company and to register our displeasure here on this board.
We called for service for our routine maintenance and for what I thought was a simple-to-understand problem: Our thermostat said '77' but the house felt much colder. The technician, Gene, listened to us explain the problem, then fiddled with the controls a minute and declared everything was fine with the thermostat because the two numbers displayed on the thermostat-- the setting and the reading of the air--said the same number. I tried to explain that that did not tell me what the temperature of the air actually was. He repeated emphatically that the two numbers on thermostat were the same. I called the company, got Mr Corbin on the line. He sounded quite irritated and said yes he had just talked to the technician and repeated the same thing the technician had told us. I asked if there was a way to measure the actual air temperature independently. Yes. There was a handheld wand, which the technician grudgingly deployed. It read '73/74' degrees -- the air temperature WAS colder. The technician looked uncertain as to what to do. We asked if there was another thermostat we could install. He brought one in and said 'this one is not as sophisticated as the one you have, but it is the only one i have today.' Husband asked what that meant and technician said 'it has fewer features'. Husband says 'like what?' Technician looked confused and said that the replacement was not as 'high level', no particulars. He offered to go get another thermostat of high-level brand and come back, but at that point we had lost all faith in his competence and in Corbin's regard for his customers. We are now actively looking for another company for maintenance and service. BUT PLEASE NOTE: To their credit, they DID waive the service charge so we expended only time and energy, not money.

Corbin Comfort has provided for the heating and air conditioning at our home for about thirty years. During all that time the service has been dependable, competent, and pleasant.

I moved into my home back in October of 2018 and used Corbin based off a recommendation from another HVAC company that my home inspector recommended but unfortunately did not service my area. I wanted a complete tune-up and cleaning on my two HVAC systems(upstairs and main floor) I paid an diagnostic fee(fee just to come out and check the systems) of $159.00 On top of this I paid $1,035 to do the tune-up and cleaning and addition items needed to make sure both my systems were running great. Everything went smoothly and my service guy did a good job.He said everything looked and was running great and I would be good to go for a long while. We had no issues after the service, being that it was winter we never used the AC. But again I was told it was working perfectly when tested. Forward to April of 2019. my wife and I welcomed our first born son in early march. we moved him into his nursery(room upstairs next to our room) We noticed that his room always seemed much warmer than any area upstairs(master, second bedroom, bathrooms, laundry and hallway) We even have a temp monitor on his baby monitor that registers much higher than what the thermostat is set to.
I called Corbin and spoke with a female to schedule an appointment and that I wanted them to check the AC issue in the nursery and to look at the downstairs unit as well, one room seemed to be much cooler in the winter(likely due because its a low insulated area) nevertheless I wanted it checked out. I was told it would be an $89.00 fee to come out and do this. I was under the impression from my previous bill of $1194.00 I wouldn't have to be charged again being a customer and also because I paid so that there wouldn't be issues this soon...but im also understand and things break etc. I said fine and waited for my visit. I was not there the day my same service guy came, my wife was home, but I did talk on the phone with him immediately after he checked everything. First I was being charged $159.00 not $89.00. I said I was told 89, he said to do two system checks its 159. I let it go at the time and figured I would settle that up later with the person who quoted me. Then I was told that both systems are running completely fine, there is no issue with the nursery room. He mentioned that the sun was hitting the nursery more causing a higher temp read. I will say that seems highly unlikely being that all three upstairs rooms are on the same side of the house, and the nursery is in the middle of the master and second room. leaving far less sun exposure, so I don't buy it.Not to mention the nursery and second room both have one duct each. And to also mention that even on days when its not been hot perhaps a rainy day, and even at nighttime long after the sun is down the room is still at a higher temp!!!!! Then they recommend I could have a second duct installed in the nursery for a price of $370.00. on top of the $159 as well. Mind you it took 15mins to look at both systems and conclude everything is ok...so I pay the $159 and decide I will call and talk to the manager about the whole scenario and explain how I was told only $89.00 etc.
When I make the call I get to speak to Mr. Corbin himself. I explain my story and situation. First he tells me that I owe the $159. that I was told incorrect information, nothing he can do about that. Then he tells me that unless I want to install the second duct it seems my only other option is to run the air longer, lower the temp, and run the fan as well. NO other actual helpful advice is offered, I was given no other option, there seemed to be no care to actually solve my issue, for a newborn mind you... I certainly felt robbed of my money and taken advantage of. So just to make sure that I was in fact not wrong. I have run the air and fan longer and lowered the temp considerably: same result, except that all the other rooms are freezing cold and now I have paid even more money in my energy bill. If in fact that my only other option is the new duct, then I will bite the bullet, but it will not be with Corbin!
