HVAC needed addressing both AC and furnace in the property I rent. They came in and replaced the furnace however patched things together and not up to code. I had asked them about addressing the evaporator unit as well however they said wait till the summer time. Feeling uneasy about the work they did which was a quick 40 mins I called in Casteel and Estes to give me a quote and both times their installers advised me the furnace dunwoody choice installed was done incorrectly and in misalignment with the evaporator which long term the blower unit in the furnace would not hold up and have issues providing enough air to circulate in the house. Not to mention they installed a Goodman furnace which is one of the cheapest furnaces in the industry. The manner in which the furnace was installed is out of code , not placing a water pan underneath it and the exhaust piping should have been double wall instead of single wall. I would have done my research on a this company vs looking at cost (cheapest route) to drive the decision to use them. Now my landlord has reached out to them because of what Casteel and Estes mentioned to see what they are going to do to address these issues. Do your research when looking for a reputable HVAC company.

5 months later and this company still had yet to correct the installation and my AC unit is leaking everywhere, destroying my wood floor. Do Not Use this company!!

This used to be a great company to deal with. They convinced me to replace a Carrier high efficiency unit because the heater kept shutting on and off. First, they said I had a "bad circuit board", $600 later..still not working, then the said unit must have a "cracked heat exchanger".

So they replace with a Goodman heater (btu was 80k, which is 2x what it should be) heater...guess what? Same problem, shutting off and on as my Carrier unit! They came out 3 times to address the problem, first they sd nothing was wrong. Then they said the Goodman unit had a quality control problem (bad thermocouple). A day later...still not working ..stated they were calling "Goodman technition" to evaluate. Nothing.. called multiple times to follow up with no call back. Bad news!

A family owned and operated business. I had a capacitor go bad in my condenser unit and Doug came that same day and replaced the part. A very good experience with honest/genuine people. Highly Recommend for the Dunwoody Area!!

We hired Dunwoody’s Choice heating and cooling to install a new Ac system at our home in 2019. They came out next day after we called. Gave us several options and provided us with a very competitive price. Recently our heat up stairs would not come on. I called Tim Maxey with Dunwoody Choice and he came right out again next day! He immediately found the problem as our board on our furnace went out. Tim ordered the board they got our furnace back up and running. Thanks guys for your on point service and always making us a priority! Highly Recommend Tim & there entire team that came out!

I have used them several times over the years. Tim is honest, fast to respond and their prices are reasonable. Works hard to make sure you are satisfied with the job. In my case, he took a bad situation and turned it around to a great ending! I'm very pleased with him.
