Totally honest and trustworthy. We hired them to install a Nest thermostat. We were given a minimal estimate, but once the technician started the work he realized it was a much bigger project than he anticipated. He ended up spending a day and a half at our home, including having to replace a circuit board on the furnace. When he was done we fully expected him to say the final price would be multiples of the original estimate, but nope! He honored the original estimate without us even having to ask him to do so, acknowledging he should have done more testing when he started. I wanted to hug him. Great company!

They showed up a little earlier than expected but completed the job sooner than expected as well. Would definitely recommend them for heating and air needs. Technician was very thorough investigating the problem with our heat pump. He could have easily given up and told me it needed replacing (previous technician did exactly that). He finally identified a wiring problem and was able to fix it with no furthering issues. This company didn't install the system so the wiring problem wasn't caused by them. I'm very happy with the service and the outcome! I will definitely be using them in the future.

I usually call at least 3 businesses because I need someone who is not only knowledgeable and professional but who would be patient with me and available to answer all of my questions. Christian Brothers came highly recommended several years ago when we were looking for a locally owned business to replace our HVAC. The owner, Robert, and all the technicians are top notch. Their installation process was flawless and reasonably priced. I've used them to install new units on another home and have referred them to many friends who have all had glowing experiences. Wouldn't use anyone else for HVAC maintenance.

I used this company last year to service an 18 year old machine that was leaking coolant. They were courteous and professional, and I appreciated their service. They recommended that I get my unit replaced rather than repair the leak. That's normal and I asked for a quote. Their quote was literally $7-8k more than two other service companies. One company was a local direct competitor, and the other quote was from a family member who lives in another city. I made the decision to not use Christian Brothers for the repair and started to save up money for the new unite. Now, a year later my old unit has a water drain clog and I called this company to come and do a service call knowing what the problem is. Again, I have a family member who owns his own company. I just got a phone call saying that Christian brothers did not want to come "get in the middle" of someone else's work, even though I have had no work done. They were asking why I didn't go with their quote for the new unit and I told them plainly that I didn't want to repair the unit as of yet, and that their quote was much too high for the work. Robert Ashby, the gentleman on the phone with me laughed, I laughed at his laughing and I reinforced just how poor of a business practice this is. I have used this company before, I am a repeat customer, I have a clogged drain with a possible broken drain pump, and they didn't want to come out... after I had already scheduled the service call the previous day. I'm disappointed and others should know that I fell very strongly that they are focused only jobs that have higher margin such as installs, rather than looking out for their customer well being.
Edit: You are correct in your response that I was incorrect in saying that you were ”7-8k” more expensive than the other two quotes provided me last summer 2018. You were $5,249.00 more expensive to be exactly accurate. I apologise for the mistake.
I stand by my assessment of your business practice publicly. The fact that you told me that you didn't want to work on my system is an absolute insult. I made no changes to my unit because we choose to live debt free as best as possible, mortgage notwithstanding. I have been saving up money to pay for a complete unit and I've done my due diligence to find the best deal for my home. The fact that I made no repairs as of yet, other than what your company provided last summer, should not warrant your decision to not "want" to work on my unit. When asked directly if you wanted to honor the service call, you clearly and directly said no. I have another company coming tomorrow to unclog my drain line though they have never previously worked on my unit. I find that interesting that they are willing to do the work even though I chose you first as a repeat customer. Every company has an opportunity to defend themselves and I respect that you are trying to do so professionally. The fact is that in this case you were, and are, wrong in how you handled me. I suspect you will do the same for others.

Christian Brothers Mechanical is the Choice to choose for your HVAC needs. I was in a jam with no A/C during the 4th of July weekend and Robert Ashby the manager went out of his way to make sure me and my family did not suffer by providing us expedited service to get our house back cool. I was totally satisfied with the techs he sent out they were very professional and knowledgeable about the installation. Once again I would really like to thank Robert Ashby for his patience, knowledge, and customer service he is a Asset to the company. I am also totally satisfied with my Amana HVAC system.👍🏾😀
