EcoMech Geothermal and Heating & Air

We have a geothermal system that was under a maintenance contract with another company. During our regular maintenance, they said we had a mold problem and needed to spend $2000 to clean the blower and coil. They also recommended a $4900 UV light package to prevent future problems.

We called EcoMech for a second opinion. The technician looked at our system and said, "That's not mold, its drywall dust." This made perfect sense because we've done construction in the past year. He also told us that a UV light would void the warranty on our Water Furnace because the wiring was not rated for UV lights. He charged $250 for the visit and cleaned the blower and coil. Best call I ever made.

Great service! My +17 year old AC unit stopped working on what seemed like the hottest day of the year. Not only did they install my new unit, but they came up with a creative solution for my condensation problem that countless other HVAC companies never wanted to deal with. They truly went above and beyond just "fixing" my AC. Highly recommend!
