Jeffery was awesome and he did a great job of informing what he was doing and it showed he took great care and pride in the service he gave. I really wish I changed many years ago. Heating and AC can be so expensive, but it is a necessity. In my 25+ years as a homeowner I have never been so appreciative of an A/C repair & servicing as Breezeway. I have used them for servicing for about 4 years and every technician is so knowledgeable and friendly and even through the pandemic we have had the best service. About 2 years ago, they noticed a potential problem in our unit during maintenance. They were not at all high pressuring, they let us know what would happen and an estimated cost if broke down the line (a much older unit). I asked for a quote, and a quote from 3 other businesses. Their quote was certainly competitive, but the real difference is that their estimate and customer service went into great detail and described every part of what they do. They answered questions and when two others were trying to sell me more expensive units, they explained why they would not personally recommend those. When we decided to refinish our basement, I did not hesitate to use them to install a unit in the basement. I am so glad I did because they really thought through all of the venting, code, etc and the contractor asked if he could use them for his future projects.

This is my second great experience with Breezeway. The first one was a new AC unit for one of my rentals and the price was very responsible ( I got a couple other estimates ), the guys were there when they said they would be and finished on time. There was a minor issue and the Breezeway came right back out and fixed the problem. This second unit was for my house and the customer service was outstanding. Breezeway installed an upscale Bryant unit (again they edged out the competition on price ), Michael the owner was easy to deal with and didn’t try to hard sell me on a more expensive unit, he just answered all my questions. I can recommend this company without reservation.

Synopsis: Breezeway was unresponsive and lacks customer service. After having them come look at our AC and telling me it needed to be repaired, after nearly two weeks of multiple calls to them on my part, they did not send the necessary information to the home warranty company to replace the broken AC unit.

Long story: On August 8, Breezeway was assigned to inspect our AC unit by our home warranty company. They came to inspect our AC and recharged it with freon saying it was low. A couple weeks later, the AC went out again. On August 31, Breezeway come out to inspect our AC unit for the second time and determined there was a leak in the unit and told me that it needed to be replaced.

Three days later Breezeway had not yet sent the diagnosis to the home warranty company so I called Breezeway to ask for an update. The woman who answered the phone told me that it was the other secretary who handled our account and she was out that afternoon. I asked if she could help me out and look up the information, and she just said no. She told me I had to call back the next morning and ask for the other woman. Didn't even bother to say she'd leave a note for this woman to call me back. I had the warranty company reach out to them that day and was told they'd have the info by the end of the day.

The next day, still not information from Breezeway so i called them again. They said they'd send it out right away. Didn't happen.

Four days later, both the home warranty company and I called Breezeway another time and the sent the initial diagnosis. This was 8 days after the service visit.

The information they sent to the home warranty company was incomplete so I called again two days later asking them to send the necessary information. They informed me they would send it right away. They did not.

I called yet again the next day, 11 days after the service visit, and they again promised to have the technician send out the necessary information.

It is now 12 days after the initial visit, and after over a half dozen phone calls from me and multiple phone calls from the home warranty company, Breezeway still has as of yet to send over the necessary information. I have finally convinced the home warranty company to assign a new company and technician to the issue because Breezeway has not been proactive in sending out the needed information despite nearly two weeks time and multiple points of contact and reminders to send the needed information.

I cannot strongly enough encourage people to NOT contact Breezeway for any speedy service.

i have been a very happy, satisfied client of breezeway heat and air for over 10 years.they replaced my failed hvac unit when we first started our partnership together. since then every technician that has come to provide maintenance service has been on time, thorough, conscientious and professional. but most recenty jeffrey has been my guy and he is amazing! very trustworthy, patient and talks to me in terms that i fully understand. any recommended services comes with reasonable quote and clear explanation of pros/cons of performing. i highly recommend this company and the hvac services/support they provide.

Excellent company, honest service, technicians went out of their way to adapt the new heating pump to the tiny space provided, quality products chosen, energy bill went down significantly to less than half since new system was installed. I worked with Damien, Nate and Tommy and the installation was flawless, efficient and fast. Would recommend to friends and family.

Breezeway is the company our home warranty company sent out when we moved to Decatur. Gavin was consistently thorough, warm and friendly, and honest about what was going on. Now when we have something we need that home warranty does not cover, we call Gavin and Breezeway. It's really nice to have a company and a technician that's responsive, honest, and thorough. Really appreciate you guys and gals!!
