    Stay away from this company. Trust me. The owner (Dennis) has no integrity or regard for his customer's. I worked here briefly and saw just how poorly he managed this company. I never like burning a bridge, but this is not a bridge worth hanging on to. I hope he learns from his mistakes and betters himself, but looking at his track record, I wouldn't hold my breath.

    To start off I’ve read all the reviews for this company, and I have to say that several of them are the home warranty companies fault it’s all about the Benjamins. I have Choice Home Warranty and on the day hurricane Ian made its way across the state my A/C system failed. Instead of dealing with my homeowner insurance company knowing darn well they had their hands full dealing with devastation on the west coast of Florida. So, I choose to use my home warranty. The technician come out determined the issue and submitted his findings. CHW denied the claim as they did so many other customers. I know it wasn’t this companies fault again it was all about the Benjamins for the warranty company. At the time I didn’t have the funds to get the system repaired. After a month without A/C I almost refinanced my home for the funds when Mary in my option is a God sent mentioned the FPL Stress Free AC program. I checked it out the website and Mary helped me over the phone to apply and I was instantly approved for a completely new A/C system. That was a Wednesday I had my new system installed the next day (BAM). If it wasn’t for this company’s help I would have refinanced my home doubled my mortgage payment. The technician that did the install was very efficient and answered all our questions. Thank you Florida Construction Authority for everything.

    I personally had a great experience with this company. I was referred through my home warranty (which denied my claim, sadly), because the duct work underneath my manufactured home needed replaced. Grant came over to do the initial diagnosis, he took video, explained the problem, even allowed me to record his explanation because it's all Greek to me, and was very patient with my questions. They called after finding out the claim was denied and we settled on a price for them to complete the job anyways and Grant came back out today (this is maybe two weeks later--hurricane Ian was in the middle of all this). He was again very nice, professional, and took pictures of the damaged parts and the newly installed ones. He again also explained what he'd just done. I would highly recommend FL Construction Authority. Just because a home warranty denies your claim doesn't make it the fault of the servicing company! I would use them again.

    I have a home warranty through Choice Home Warranty. A claim was filed for service and it was submitted to Florida Construction Authority. It has been over 3 weeks , the home warranty company has made several attempts to contact them but to no avail. They never answer the phone. The AC unit is sitting in there factory address in Melbourne which they provided to be shipped but they have yet to pick it up and deliver to install at my home. It is 85 degrees in my home in Florida every day and this company appears to have no desire in complying with the service request. Not sure how a company like this is still in existence. My next steps are to file a complaint with the BBB and Florida Consumer Protection Department as my situation has not been resolved. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM !!

    This is the worst company ever!!! Do not use this company!!! I was referred to them by American Home Shield. I paid $1182 for the instal of my new AC unit. The house was still hot after the instal. They came back to the house and said my ductwork was bad. I had multiple companies come and they all said the ductwork is fine and that the unit was installed completely incorrect. I will now have to pay Durham and sons $1800 to install the unit correctly. Mary, the receptionist was supposed to send Gabe to fix the unit. I waited for 3 hours and he never showed up. Now she will not answer the phone and neither will her boss Chris. Durham and Sons (AC company in Brevard county) said the unit was not even connected to my flex inside my house so all my air is going outside. This company refused to fix the problem or give me a refund. I will be taking them to court!

    Walter was very responsive to our call when our AC was not working. Came out for first visit at 730pm and quickly diagnosed the issue. Parts had to be ordered but he was able to get the system cooling until the parts could make it. Kept us informed while waiting for parts and checked in daily to ensure the system was still cooling. As soon as parts arrived he returned to finish the repairs. Very informative and helpful. Got the problem fixed quickly and was very pleasant to work with. When he finished he made sure to clean up after his work and everything is as good as new. Would highly recommend and will use if any future work is needed.

    Hi there! I have a home warranty through American Home Shield. I filed a claim for service and my request was submitted to Florida Construction Authority. It has now been 48 hours since the initial request and this company noted in the AHS system that I was contacted. To the surprise of no one, I was not. After multiple messages from myself and American Home Shield, there has been ZERO response from this company. So thank you for the not so prompt service and poor communication. I mean if you're a fan of leaving voice mail and hearing yourself speak then this is the place for you! Don't worry, I'll forego the warranty cost just to not deal with this level of unprofessionalism.

    Our home warranty company dispatched Florida Construction Authority to repair our A/C. This is the fourth repairman they’ve sent out to fix the problem in the last six months but the first one that seemed to care about actually addressing the root issue. Walter was respectful and professional, made sure that the air was working before he left, and has followed up several times since the repair to make sure it kept working. We’ll definitely recommend this company and Walter to anyone needing A/C service.

    FCA was assigned my repair request through the home warranty company I use. I definitely would reach out to use them again on my own if the need arose.

    What should have been a straight-forward repair was not because of a different company that improperly "fixed" the same thing a year ago.

    I am very confident that FCA did a much better job at the repair this time. They had some issues with getting parts from a major AC supplier (not FCA's fault!); other than our mutual frustration with that supplier FCA did a stellar job in addressing the problem and making sure the system was operating normally. The tech went out of his way to check-in later in the day after he left to make sure everything was still working as expected (Walter, you're the best!). They were prompt and thorough, and very persistent - they understood what it is like to live in Florida without a functioning AC system this time of year.

    Walter was my point of contact through a service request with American Home Shield where he completely redid my HVAC system and made sure everything was properly installed. The process itself took a month and a half, but Walter was there every step of the way, checking in via text/call to make sure I was taken care of. Very professional, responsive, and always showed up on time. Thanks for your service and time, Walter!
