These company is great. I contacted them in the morning, Anthony gave me a quick over the phone estimate and had them in the afternoon done with the installation. I installed a UV light. Installation was fast. My tech Mark answer all the million questions I asked and was very polity and knowledgeable. Im a very happy customer. Thanks!

The guys at Filterbuy Local were absolutely incredible. Needed to have our entire AC system replaced. They were here on time and were extremely professional. Our new system is running beautifully and the house thank god is cool again. Previously we had a leak causing everything to freeze up, as it kept happening we had no choice but to replace. The representative was very knowledgeable and polite. He explained his service in a way I could understand. He was thorough and great client communication skills. This was regarding my central ac maintenance.

My unit needed Freon and Stop Leak. The technician arrived at 9:00pm and quoted us $2450 for Freon, Stop Leak, carburetor oil (not needed), and labor. We told him we could not afford that so he immediately lowered the price to $1550. Obviously, an instant $900 drop shows that the company is taking advantage of their customers who don’t want to sleep without A/C. We opted out of purchasing the overpriced service; we still had to pay $100 for a service call. I recommend not calling this company when you need service after hours; they take advantage of their customer’s wallets.

Update: I slept without A/C and called Island Air the following morning. Their elite technician inspected the unit using diagnostic devices. He said the coolant pressure levels were textbook perfect. He also told me stop leak would ruin my 2016 A/C unit. The temperature gauge needed to be replaced for only $100; the AC is good as new now. There is no leak in the unit and no Freon needed. It is horrendous that Filter Buy Local tried to take full advantage of us. Do not call them when you need AC repair!

We had a great tune up with a tech from Filterbuy a few weeks ago. When our Ac started to leak a little water over the week, they came back out right away without charging us a service call or anything. Really happy they did that.

I bought filters and scheduled the $49 tune-up for my air conditioner. Mark was great! He explained everything very well, knew his products and was very personable! He looked at my unit very carefully and gave me three options of what to do with the air conditioning.
