Service guy came out and looked at my AC unit. He told me my unit was wired backwards and that he fixed it. He also told me that I needed a bracket for the blower, that whoever had worked on this unit before I bought the place had used a box to hold up the blower. He would have to order the part and it would take about a week to ten days to come in. The unit would work fine until then. I should have known that there was something up with this company as the repair man got into his truck and called in the alleged order. I went inside to get my credit card and heard his truck start up, I assumed it was because that it was hot outside. So I also grabbed a bottle of water for the technician. When I went outside, he was gone.
However, I did receive a follow-up call from the office and the young lady told me my part was arriving on a Thursday and that their guy would be out on Monday to finish the job. That's been a year and a half ago. I'm still waiting. But, the unit burned out, so I guess I'll call Southern Air.

I called Palatka Heating and Air on a Monday morning (to aviod a higher weekend rate). The woman that answered the phone stated that it would be sometime on Tuesday before they could send the technician. I called 1st thing Tuesday morning to give an alternate phone # as I had an appointment mid-day. While at my appointment, my # was called, but not the alternate number of the person taking off work waiting on them. As soon as I got the message I returned the call, they stated they were already out of the area (only 45 minutes later). The technician stated that the may be able to make it the next day. Who has time to take days off of work? An estimated time would be nice. I called to office to ask why they did not call the alternate number that I had just given her that morning? I got no reply. They lost a sale of a new a/c unit.

Palatka Heating & Air has been taking care of our HVAC needs since, literally, the day we bought our house here 3 years ago. They have installed new AC systems, done extensive duct work, installed new venting, and responded to a couple of emergency issues - all in a timely fashion with professionalism, friendliness, reliability, and quality craftsmanship. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Our family loves Bodie and the rest of the group at Palatka Heating and Air. Anytime we have needed them they have gotten to us promptly and taken great care of us. I get a text with a time frame of when they are coming, another text when they are on their way, and a thank you text when they leave. They are the only company I trust my house to. They came out on Memorial Day weekend and fixed an AC for us they have always been on time and able to help us every time we've called best company ever. When you live in a small town like we do people tend to not show up when they tell you they will but you can depend on Palatka Heating and Air
