Lukas Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

We have used Lukas several times over the last 20 years. They kept our 1992 unit going until there were no more replacement parts, and then we had them install a new system. I definitely recommend them. They do great work, are very professional, and quick to return calls and emails.

In addition to all their professional skills, Lukas' technicians are friendly, considerate and honest. We've used them for at least 15 years, and they have always been clear and honest about possible problems w/ our a/c, and have never pressured us. In short, they're the best and I recommend them to all my friends.

We can't be more happy with their service. The crew is very professional and customer satisfactory-oriented. We recently replaced our air conditioner with Lukas. It wasn't a straight-forward installation due to my storage design. They took their time patiently to get the installation done, and they made the new installation much more maintenance-friendly. We later asked Lucas to install a UV light for another air conditioner in my house. During the post-work testing, they found a malfunctioning part and replaced it for free! Lucas will be my service provider going forward for sure.

They are the best company in the area, while they may not be the cheapest, I know that I will get the best quality work and an honest evaluation of my system. We recently had the air handler and condenser replaced by Lukas Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. From start to finish the job was done professionally, in a timely manner and with respect for our property. This was a difficult job because our house is 40+ years old and sizes have changed significantly but they were able to get us a unit that fit the restricted space. My AC unit had what I thought was a clogged line causing a water leak. I decided to use Lukas when they quoted me 1/2 the cost of other companies and their $80 diagnostic fee includes unclogging the line. Another company wanted $79 to just check the unit nothing included plus $119 for unclogging the line.

Peggy at the office was pleasant to speak with when arranging the appointment. Jay the technician showed up as scheduled and even called me exactly 30min prior as agreed so that I can leave my office and meet him at the house.

Jay communicated with me all that needed to be done and indeed it was a clogged line. He suggested changing the PVC piping as the way they were angled could be causing the water backup. He even made it easier to remove the filter for cleaning. Jay also checked that the unit was good on freon...thank you Jay for a job well done!

In the end I experienced Lukas to be a company that was honest, and a pleasure to work with! I also paid less and got more done!

Jeff and crew had worked on my old AC unit for years, and were there when I needed a quote for a replacement AC. Their prices were quite reasonable. We had been shopping around for a reliable company/technician to service our Trane AC unit. Peggy at dispatch is a pleasure to work with!! She is attentive to your needs and ensures that all of your concerns are relayed to the technician prior to his/her arrival. Jake (our technician) was outstanding!!! He took the time to point out every detail that he was finding, and ensure that we understood how that impacted the performance of the unit. Our unit had been having issues since we purchased it 3 yrs ago, and Jake was the first technician we've had that instilled confidence in us that he knew what he was doing.
