A-Max Air Conditioning

I've been doing business with A-max air conditioning for years and every time they've come to my property for service I've been treated with respect, honesty and transparency. Prior to using A-max I had used other cheaper companies and the quality of work/customer service was just pitiful, whereas the customer service that I have received from A-max has been extraordinary. The owner of the company, Dustin Petty, is probably the nicest and most honest person you will ever meet. He does everything he can in his power to make sure that all your questions are answered and get your unit working like new again the same day. The man is literally a walking encyclopedia of air conditioning. Every time I have referred him and his company to family or friends they always come back to me saying what a professional and honest man that he is, and that they will always recommend A-max to whoever else needs service also. Their prices are also very reasonable considering that they have over 500 reviews on Angie's List and they are a 5 star rated Angie's List company. They also do a very good job of keeping record of when they've visited your property and what they did the last time they serviced the units so that if you ever have a question as to warranty they will be able to look up your information right away. The dispatchers are also very courteous and quick to help schedule a time and day for service to be done, and if you have an emergency you can count on them scheduling you for either the same day or early the next day for service. A-max never leaves their customers hanging. I will continue to use A-max for AC service for as long as Dustin Petty operates the company. And even though he's not always available to do technician work, his other technicians (Steven, Matthew, Emilio and Leonel) are just as professional, kind, and considerate as he is and are just as determined to do quality work. It's a great feeling to know that you can trust a company to provide honest, quality work for your home. A-max air conditioning and Dustin Petty has really made it easy for me to trust them with all my AC needs, I am soo relieved to have found this company and no longer have to deal with the lack of consideration, craftsmanship or professionalism from other inferior companies anymore. A- Max Air conditioning is one of the few OUTSTANDING full service Air conditioning companies. We have worked together over the past 7 years from servicing old equipment, to installing new and maintenance. The owner Dustin Petty is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and can guide you in detail about your needs and why and provides several option with different price ranges. More importantly his customer service and emergency services are extremely reliable and prompt. They were able to provide us assistance within hours at night when we had a power outage and obtain repair the following day. We highly recommend them.

I must say: I'm not easily impressed, but Dustin from A-Max Air Conditioning changed that. He's been in the business for decades and knows every inch of your A-C unit. Not only can he recommend the best options, but he's been in the business so long, that he knows which units work in certain spaces, which options will give you the least amount of trouble, and which recommendations are not worth your time. I appreciated that he didn't speak down to me as a homeowner and taught me about the unit while he was fixing it. I am thankful for his great service and highly recommend him!

I highly recommend the team at A-Max Air Conditioning. I noticed that my air conditioning was leaking and I called A-Max based on a recommendation. Dustin (the owner) called me back and stayed on the phone with me for about 20 minutes helping me address the leaking problem until they could come out. The technician, Erik, came out the next day, saw that I had a cracked drain pan and a faulty motor. He replaced a part in the motor so that we would have A/C throughout the night. The following day, Erik came out and changed out the drain pan and completed the motor replacement. Erik was knowledgeable, thorough, and respectful, making sure to put shoe covers on any time he was in the house, protecting our wood floors. At the end of the job, I had to attend a meeting, so my wife handled the payment. Thania from the office was extremely nice and walked my wife through every part of the repair. This was a big job and the entire experience with A-Max was fantastic. Great customer service, knowledgeable technicians, and high-quality work!

I have been a customer of A-Max or Dustin the owner since he was a tiny company. I think Dustin is OCD as he is very detailed in his explanations and work. I have used a few different companies over thirty years and only A-Max in the last 10 years or so. I have used them for my business, home and my mother-in -law's homes. What is nice is that he is also picky with his workers so much so that I was able to leave them alone in my office for 4 days while changing the ductwork. I had no problems with them breaking or stealing things. If there was any weak point in the company it is probably the office staff. No bad attitudes or anything just not as great as Dustin. I will continue to use them in the future.

Came the next day and were very professional and our air conditioner works better! They spent a few hours looking at every piece of equipment and gave us a lot of feedback on how to take care of the unit better. We bought an Ecobee3 (smart thermostat) and couldn't install it due to a lack of wiring and they installed it for free and even turned off some settings on the outside portion of the HVAC so that it would work better! Dustin 100% knew what he was doing and was very kind, very good at what he did, and it was not expensive! I'm very pleased with them and I will call them first!
