Hank’s AC services were awesome! The technician Scott was very helpful, honest and knowledgeable. They showed up on time and worked efficiently to get our 20 year old system back in working order. Would recommend them to everyone.

I called Hank's about 1 in the afternoon and they were here by 3pm! Both of the guys were extremely professional and within minutes they told us what the problem was. We were up and running the air conditioning within an hour. We definitely will be calling them if we need anything more done. We give them 5 stars all around! Could not ask for better as they are the very best!

I used them prior to install my ductless ac's. It had been a referral from my family who has been VERY happy with their services both installations and maintenance.

This time my ductless units needed significant maintenance after we had been gone for an extended time. They, as usual, did a fantastic job!!!!!

They will always be my choice for any ac requirements!!!

We called for a new AC/ Heat pump estimate and they came out the same day. The next day they were able to install. Great service. Very personable. Great price. They did great work. I would highly recommend!

Hank's is the best! I will not trust anybody else with doing ac repair or installing! They are great people to work with and do excellent work and are above board and truthful in what they tell you. I have used them for around 7 yrs now and I don't want anyone else working on my ac unit.

Installed my account fine and the price was about what I expected. Really nice people and I pondered this rating a while.....
Completely lacks follow through and commitment to what they say.
On 2 distinct times for very different items, despite clear communication they completely abandoned their word on the job. Now, mind you when I give my word, I mean it. This may not mean much to you, but it does to me.
My job was replacing an ac unit on a house that had been left empty for YEARS. It required a good bit of duct cleaning as Florida had throughly moved in and was living inside the place. An ac duct cleaning was needed and it was unable to get the ducts cleaned to Hanks AC satisfaction, I was told that they would perform another final cleaning before they would call the job DONE. I verified this no fewer than 3X by phone, by email and IN PERSON with Hank himself.
The job was never so much as attempted, no follow up just a prompt for how did we do for this review.
2nd time I was completely left wondering WHY
Hank, or at least whom I assume Hank, the older gentleman asks me completely unprompted if I'd like a case of filters for the air return. This was out of the blue at the completion of the installation. He offers to provide a dozen ac filters as part of the deal. I accepted and thanked him, only to get a weird email some time later telling me that 2 were all that was available and " sourcing" them was on me. Again, we circle back to the, MY WORD IS MY BOND. I cannot fault the letter of the quote or the work done, it's just the nagging feeling like I was told ONE THING and then got a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT thing.
That's why I mulled this over since March to May before posting this review. I gave the company long enough to follow through, or in this case not to.

I clearly state that Hank offered the filters. Where I have the issue is that you send me an email telling me that they are unavailable anyplace in Gainesville. Source them yourself. It felt like you were dismissing me as if I was the one who asked for them, when again Hank offered them to me in person.
Yet, my local ace hardware store has them in stock! GOOD ONES 8 MERV wire reinforced pleated filters.
Why go all the way to Gainesville and give up because you cannot source them, while a local vendor has them in stock CHEAPER than Amazon. Yeah, Ace has them for a dollar less than Amazon. Buy local people, you will be supporting the local family and in this case SAVING money!!!!!
The issue was and is not keeping your word.

cleaning the duct work, did you call? Schedule this job? Come by the house? I am about a mile from your driveway, so its like we are neighbors I watched you trimming the trees around your driveway a couple of weeks ago.
When the permit was closed, the house was being lived in. I made this clear to you then. It's been long enough that it was clear you had no intention of doing the job.
Once again, the issue was and is NOT KEEPING YOUR WORD
It really is that simple.
I've stated the work and the price were fine, the issue was that when I give someone my word, I mean it.
I was raised to say to say yes Mam and Yes Sir. To always keep your word, even when it means it cost more than I wanted. I am no stranger to AC work, my father owned and ran Hicks Ac and Electric my entire childhood, and I worked in the trade for several years. This discussion made me very uncomfortable and I really had to consider it.
Giving this rating, which YOU SOLICITED, took me months of thinking about it before posting it.
