    Very Rude and don’t care about customers. I don’t recommend. They send me a tech guy who leaked more than one pound of R22. They send me another guy and charged me for that one pound of R22 freon. They don’t want to admit the mistake all they care about is charging people. When l Gave them an honest bad review, the owner who got thin skin and don’t care about his customers told his staff not to serve me anymore. I am not mad or angry. I feel sorry for such a business who been serving Riverview for more than 20 yrs is going down the drain in customer service due to greed and -ve attitude toward customers. There are dozens of AC companies in the same ZipCode. My money went to your competitor. And that’s your fault.

    I have used and recommended this company many times over the years. Today technician Don came to my home for a Heat Pump check up. His work was thorough and well done. When my unit finally dies, this is the company I will call for a replacement.

    Short story: an amazing family owned company that I would recommend for any and all HVAC needs.

    Long story: (my entire interaction)
    I purchased a place May 30th 2018. one day the AC stops working and it is incredibly hot in my place. So I do what most people do and ask a friend their recommendation. we all know this can be dangerous and you get the friend or family member who is quote-unquote this or that and it works out very poorly but nonetheless that is what I did.

    So beginning in October 2018 through January 2019 can hope agency representative came out to my place probably six to eight times between the heater and air conditioning. Naturally I felt skeptical about the place I bought and I was suspecting Ken Hope AC
    I am waited to be told you're better off replacing the AC.

    And of course it did come. and suddenly it came at a time that I most definitely could not afford replacing it. Repairing it was already a terrible consideration especially after the repairs I have already put into it.

    so I got the quotes for replacing and of course they were thousands of dollars that I could not commit to at that time. naturally over the next few weeks for his weather did not let me down for reminding me air conditioning is a necessity in Florida not a luxury.

    long story short I left a message for Ken hope to give me a call to discuss replacing my air conditioning. In the meantime I contacted another company to come out for a second opinion.

    I got a better price on the replacement AC but I was not thrilled with their finance company. Long story short with that piece of it they charge 29% interest a month and would most likely be a 3-year loan. Can hope works with Wells Fargo and you can get a 3-year loan at 0% as long as you have it paid off in that 3 years. The way you do the letters make payments every month based on how much you owe and what amount of time. Real simple math.

    So I called back company back and left a message. PS I still have not heard back from that company. However can hope and I did discuss placing my air conditioning unit. Of course by discussion we can't do a mutually beneficial arrangement. of course the air conditioning unit was still going to cost me thousands of dollars I do not have but nonetheless I cannot get the summer and try to live in this place without an air conditioning unit.

    so wanting to get this done immediately can hope comes out the next day for me to sign a paper. I thought it was going to be a sales document for purchasing the air conditioning unit. instead it was a document alerting me to the fact that I have 3 days to cancel this contract for purchase of an air conditioning unit for whatever reason and not have to pay any fees whatsoever. it is called the 3-day cancellation rule in case that's have never heard of that.

    I know there are people out there that have purchased things that wanted to return it right away and we're told they can't. Next thing you know when three days laps they tell you you can't return it because three days elapsed. those companies are out there a lot. And they don't even tell you about the 3-day cancellation rule you have to know about it and you have to fight them about it as well.

    so then I was asking can about different things about the installation. For example was he going to put a new concrete slab down. his response was that is what the hurricanes had is all about. Furthermore the county is going to come inspect our work to make sure it is done properly. so as if I wasn't shocked about the 3-day cancellation roll I certainly was stunned and questioning him that so he defiles the permits and is professional? Yes it is sad that I have to feel that way but I have been ripped off so many times as well as I know so many others.

    so I told Ken I would happily recommend anyone and everyone I could to use him. he tells me I would get a $50 referral fee. I would do it for free due to his business practices. When you are calling an HVAC company all you want is the truth and fair treatment.

    Ken Hope AC installed a new Trane system in our home recently. They provided service on our 20 yr old unit and it was time for a replacement. They gave a good fair quote and scheduled a day that worked for us to be around. The guys were clean, prompt, polite and friendly - answering questions we asked, consulted us about outdoor unit location and gave us time in between to clean out the air handler closet before the new one was installed. We also got a wifi digital Nexia thermostat that can be controlled by Alexa or an app on our phones. The Trane AC installed was bigger than we had before and seems to run more efficiently. Ken Hope's office will handle all the warranty registration and electric rebates so we don't have to. Would highly recommend.

    After Ken himself came out looked at the project he said he have a quote to me by the next day. 3 days later I call his office and the admin person says he has it in his truck will that they'd get it to me right away. I made this exact same call to them 3 additional times over the next 2 weeks. Never got the quote. Working with Ken Hope wasted a great deal of time and effort. There is room for more HVAC vendors in Apollo Beach.

    They gave us a 30 minute window for the following morning (unlike Del Air's "sometime tomorrow after 12pm") and showed up promptly within the time window. He had us up and running in about 15 minutes (bad capacitor). Price was reasonable (I did some research to make sure). Afterwards, he also had his office check to see if the unit was still under warranty. Fast, professional and courteous. Only reason for 4 versus 5 stars was that the service call was charged on top of the repair (which some other companies do).

    2019 Update (The above was from 2018) - continued excellent service and honesty. The tech (Wilson) thoroughly explained what he did, what the information meant etc. When providing solutions to one problem I had (too long to explain), he provided me alternatives with pros and cons and no attempt to bias and upsell one approach. He stated this was part of the Ken Hope Philosophy (not quite those words). Considered four stars only because we originally booked the day before and they had to reschedule us today, but they were prompt in rebooking and arriving.

    Good service, honest, fair prices and no hidden charges. Techs are professional and courteous. They came out to my home on time and replaced my A/C coil. I will definitely recommend Ken Hope A/C. Thanks

    Bad experience. One appointment canceled due to shortage of techs. Rescheduled for Friday between 9-12. After 12 nobody was calling to let me know that they were running late. Arrival time 12:20. At 3 O'Clock the tech left my house with problems not being solved and leaving the house messy in several areas. I was told that the air is blowing when it is not! The attic door was not put back. Very, very bad service.

    Thermostat went blank, tried to self diagnose, but failed to find the problem. Called Ken Hope and they dispatched a technician to my home within 3 hours on the day before Thanksgiving. Don found the problem to be a damaged circuit board in the airhandler. Brought the part the next morning and we were up and running in less than a half hour. Only charged for service call labor and the cost of the part. I would recommend Ken Hope to anyone who needs reliable, honest HVAC service.

    They came 15mins before appointment (Excellent). They were able to find the problem in the matter of minutes. They provided a great service and then some, while only charging me the service call fee. Great attitudes and answered every questioned I asked, and I asked a lot of questions. Will definitely use for any of my A/C Repair or maintenance needs.
