One of the best AC companies in the area. I'm a realtor and have used his company for over 16 years. I have personally had 2 AC units installed. One in 2007 and the other 4/2021. His employees were professional and on time. I recommend Shades AC to anyone who is looking for a reliable company. They are the BEST.

Absolutely the best. Aurther came out the same day I called him to fix what another company screwed up. Look no further if you want knowledge, promptness and honesty. You won't be overcharged like alot of these will.

They did a great job with our air conditioning. We just had them install our brand new Trane air conditioning system. They were professional, attentive, and I look forward to working with them in the future.

Arthur is an honest, hard-working repairman/businessman who believes giving his customers excellent service and a fair price is far more important than gauging unknowing customers who are at his mercy.
A perfect example: A competitor came to our home last night and after finding a leak and very little refrigerant in our system he wanted to charge us $1,200 plus a $79 service call charge. We don't know ANYTHING about AC but felt we were being ripped off. I called Arthur and left a message. Arthur had just recently put a Mitsubishi mini-split in our garage and gave us a great price and excellent service. He called the next morning and apologized that he was really busy that day (a Friday before a very hot weekend) but he would do his best to come by the end of the day. He called a half hour before coming and was at our house by 4:30. After examining our unit he said there was a leak he could easily weld/ patch and fill with refrigerant for $295. He was done before 6 pm but shared that he had four more customers to see before his day was done. He knows how important AC is and he doesn't want to turn anyone away if he can help it. Such a wonderful man! We highly recommend Arthur's company, Shades AC and Heating, Inc.

Shades has worked on two units for me over the years, one old, one not so old. The service is excellent. Made suggestions for repairs that were cost effective. Takes great pride in doing the job properly and the bills are very reasonable.

I thought I had a leak in the condenser and needed refrigerant and/or a replacement. Art, the owner, arrived on time and verified the condenser is fine and the drain by the handler was clogged. Huge relief ! No up-sale! Just honest business practice. Highly recommend Shade's to everyone!

After I made 3 phone calls and set up an appointment for a 2nd opinion repair, I waited 45 minutes and no one showed. When I called the office, they answered the phone and he hadn't even left yet! No phone call, no service. Don't waste your time.

I would highly recommend this company. Isolated the problem very quickly and had me up and running in no time at all. Very professional!
