My family has been loyal to Krall Oil ever since we moved to out current home four years ago. Recently, we called to have a technician sent since we were out of propane and needed their services, however, after setting up an appointment and waiting hours to receive them, it was a no show. I called emergency services because we believe there might be a leak since the room smelled of propane, all they responded with is that “they’ll call” and hung up without any other direction. Poor business practice. Dishonest service. It’s been 5 days and still nothing from them. Where are you Krall Oil? Fell asleep?
It pains me to to report my disappointment with Krall /Petro oil. I have been a customer for 40 years and have had new HVAC systems installed and maintained by Krall. They were always a reliable and good company. The equipment and the people who installed and maintained it are reliable . Even when new equipment misbehaved, they always got the job done. Recently I had routine service done on the water heater/furnace. I have their $257 annual service contract which covers parts and labor. The technician replaced an aqua stat on the water heater. This generated an unexpected $700 bill!! No discussion , no warning ! Really … ? I was then told the service contract does not cover that part? I looked up the price of the Carlin9000b aqua stat , It is $138. Labor covered? 500% markup? Just feels like a ripoff. BTW no complaint about the quality of the work. Just the quality of treatment I received . No response from my text to them either! This is no way to treat anyone.
I just wanted to share how pleased I was with the service received from Alpine Heating and Cooling. My furnace stopped functioning and I was able to get in contact with Mike via a referral from a contractor who does a lot work for our company. Mike called me back almost immediately on a Friday evening and arranged to come out to look at my furnace that Saturday. After his evaluation, I realized that it would be more prudent to invest in a new furnace instead of costly repairs to an aged unit. He made arrangements for the the installation of my new furnace the following Tuesday and the guys were at my door promptly at 8:00AM. They were professional and courteous and were respectful of my home. Best of all I have my new furnace and heat. Would definitely recommend!
Excellent service! I cannot say enough about Alpine Heating and Cooling! They came to our house on Monday 10/04/21 to install a new furnace and air conditioning unit. In total there were 6 guys here working. They were courteous, helpful and put a drop cloth down to avoid making a mess. All in all they were in my house for about 7 hours. They completed the job under some trying conditions, one being it was pouring with rain most of the day. Have to give huge props to Pat who worked outside in the rain most of the day without complaining once! Pretty heroic effort. Very happy with this company and the work they did. Will definitely recommend them without reservation. Best of all my basement was cleaner when they left than when they arrived!!!
Always more than happy with the expert level of service and support from the team at Krall Oil & Alpine Heating & Cooling. We have been customers for several years. They have done everything from installing new water heater, new oil tank, new ac, to oil and propane delivery, they never disappoint.
Terrible experience ! After 10 years of being with them I called them as on the hottest day our Air conditioning shut off ! We have two dogs who suffer when it’s hot. We were not expecting miracles but were told straight up front that somebody would not be able to come in today!! This is after our loyalty to them for 10+ years!!!! And to top it all the other ones who installed the air conditioning unit and ever since they installed it every year we’ve been having a problem with the same unit.
Brand and company loyalty In this day and age are certainly overrated. I would not recommend them to anyone. And about all I think the face of their service staff, this lady Barbara needs to make sure that she does a good job with her customer service at least listen with courtesy.
So in this day and age is it only expected of healthcare providers to be considerate and every other service provider can behave like they are the cats whiskers and don’t owe any loyalty to their customers!

Our Central Air stopped working today. We called Krall Oil-Alpine Heating & Cooling. Their technician arrived very promptly and repaired the broken wire and exchanged a damaged fuse. Our AC works well now. Great job.
I can't even put into words how impressed I was with the professionalism of the guys that came to install my central AC. They were cognizant of the hard wood floors and placed protective blankets throughout their work area. Cleaned up after themselves (even boomed and vacuumed) at the end of each work day. They were kind, professional, and personable. Their service manager, Mike, and is another gem. He came in with a quote and explained everything in detail. I was very impressed with everyone and will certainly be reaching out to them in the future with other needs.
