The people at the Fort Collins location are awesome, and they always have or can get what I need. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because we can't call the store directly. Every single phone call has to go through corporate - which is extremely inconvenient.
Best Customer service I have ever had. Spoke with a woman named Hailey at the 800 number, she was such great help! When she was unsure of something she quickly found the answer for me and made sure I was fully taken care of. Great doing business with this company. Thanks :)
Ordered a switch online and was sent the wrong one. Called customer service and they said I received the wrong part and assured me i would get the right part and could pick it up from the local Grainger store. It is 40 miles round trip from me but I needed it for a machine and went to pick it up. Upon arriving I was told that they had my switch and I asked them to make sure it was the right one, they assured me it was and I left. When I put the switch on the machine it was the wrong one AGAIN. I called customer service AGAIN. They put me in touch with their product manager to see if the part was the wrong number, he could not even figure out what switch I was in need of even after explaining it 4 times. It’s a simple switch like a refrigerator door switch, open it’s on closed it’s off but he could not understand this. This is unacceptable for a company that is supposed to have a great reputation. I will not ever try and ordere from them again. Highly disappointed!
Ordered a whole house fan shutter and it arrived much sooner than expected but was bent up really bad. Returned it and ordered another in hopes that it was just mishandled by UPS - no - this shutter was also bent up but not nearly as bad. I gave up. Not only is this product difficult to find in the size that I need but to keep getting terrible quality is a deal breaker. I will always look at that shutter and think to myself - I’ll never order from Grainger again.
The Young Lady at the will call desk was AWESOME! She went out of her way to get me the sale price on a Dewalt flashlight! Thank you for outstanding customer service!
If you are looking for some of the major tool brands like DeWalt, Milwaukee and your regular supplier is back ordered We got parts next day from them. Definitely will be back.
