We got a postcard in the mail for a $99 fall cleaning. It was easy to make an appointment, the technician showed up right on time and did the best cleaning we've EVER had on our furnace. Nice guy, funny, and hard worker. I recommend Flatland completely!

We've had Dean from Flatland out a couple of times to fix furnace problems. The first time was because roofers that were replacing our roof had smashed down the top of a vent and it was causing an error where the furnace wouldn't turn on. He figured it out quickly and repaired in for a reasonable price. We had a hot surface ignition part that stopped working yesterday, and he came back (after almost a year) and not only remembered what the problem had been before, but diagnosed and fixed the new problem quickly. We'll be keeping their card and calling with any future issues. Good service and quick response time at a reasonable price!

My furnace just this past Friday, the pilot light would not start and it was having problems. At 5:30 pm I contacted Flatland Heating and Air LLC. Dean was here within half an hour. Got busy checking it out, cleaned a part that needed cleaning and was done. I very much appreciated his honesty and useful tips. Will be using this company only in the future. Thank You.

This father and son team were excellent in taking care of my sporadically working furnace with repeated troubleshooting. They also loaned space heaters to me since the furnace was going out unpredictably in the middle of the winter. They were amazing and ended up fixing the furnace after spending hours in my basement. They helped me out two years ago and I haven't had a single problem since. I was looking for a plumber this evening and decided to see if they took care of that too which is why I'm so late reviewing them.

As General Managers of the BEST WESTERN Hotel we want to thank Dean for his hard work and service. Dean is quick and honest in all he does. He always does what he says and his pricing is very reasonable. We highly recommend Dean for any ac / heating needs you might have. He is a ten in our rating!

Previous company I used said I needed a new AC unit because the condenser had fried out. I called Flatland for a quote and Dean came out to give me an estimate. He did the correct thing and fixed the initial problem for the unit instead of just trying to get me to spend thousands to replace the entire unit. It turned out to be a small part that fried instead of the entire condenser. I highly recommend then and will always be calling them for any of my home service needs in the future. Thanks Dean!

Dean at Flatland Heating and Air was fantastic!! He is extremely HONEST and FAIR, not to mention hard working. I called him in the morning and he worked me into his schedule. I will continue to use him for all my heating and air conditioning needs, not only for my home, but also for my business. If you need H VAC work, he's your guy. I will recommend him to all my neighbors, friends and family.

They were not willing to provide any quote information over the phone nor free estimates. I called them after getting a ridiculous quote from another HVAC tech ($550) to recharge my home central AC with R-22. I merely wanted to understand what the service charge for refilling refrigerant and what they would charge for each pound of R-22. I know you can buy it for $20/lb but seems HVAC folks are trying to mark it up significantly when they refill. Are they in business to charge for HVAC servicing or reselling Freon (R-22) at significantly inflated prices? I ended up not using Flatland due to the inability to understand if they would provide a ridiculous charge also and because they had no option for free estimates. They needed $80 to just get an estimate. Since they couldn't provide that information, I passed on using them. Surprising as they get so many good reviews from customers.

PS> I apologize to Flatland if this is just common practice in the industry and they're following the status quo. If so, that practice should change across the board. What the service charge? How much are you making up Freon?

    - Update - I found another HVAC company who was willing to quote a $89 1-hour service call to refill and they charge $22/lb for R-22. I will update after the service has been completed and I evaluate the service. Total estimate to recharge the system with 5-lb R-22 for ~$200

Flat Land heating and air exceeded my expectations. There prices are very reasonable, and they have great quality work. They are a small local shop with more personalized service. I would recommend them in a heartbeat because the comfort is definitely worth it.

He was early today to fix an issue caused by another firm whose new furnace failed to come on today. Not his fault that I had to pay to fix a new furnace. It was great that he came so quickly and was so thorough in his explanation of what was going on.
