Ice Age HVAC Repair

Greg and his two coworkers came over to my house and were immediately respectful of my entire family. Right off the bat I knew these were the guys I wanted to replace my in-wall natural gas heater. They inspected the job have a great explanation of what was going on and a fair price. They’re licensed and insured and their work ethic clearly shows. The day of it was straight to work Greg and his guys didn’t waste anytime. Ice Age HVAC was quick, responsive, knowledgeable, respectful, and very professional. I highly recommend making Ice Age HVAC your first call. under you’ll see pictures of my old red tagged heating unit and how nice and clean the new one they put in is. Also it should be noted that they didn’t damage the wall at all

Greg and his team were professional, responsive, and VERY attentive to making sure the Air Conditioning unit I wanted installed was done right. He even saved me some money by using less material than I actually ordered - allowing me to return cables for money back! Great installation and friendly service. Highly recommend!

What an amazing company! I called Ice Age to repair my AC because it was continually tripping the breaker after a power outage. Dzmitry came out very quickly and he went ABOVE AND BEYOND the call of a normal AC repair.

He found the blown capacitor very fast, but when he replaced it and we turned the system back on, it blew the breaker AGAIN. Over and over. We could not get the system to stay on for more than 3 minutes. He spent a good hour on the roof in 104 degree heat, rechecking the system top to bottom, removing and replacing the capacitors, measuring the electrical currents, but we couldn't figure out why it was happening.

He then came to check the breaker box, where we noted that breaker was getting warm. He checked the electrical current and found it to be normal. Back up to the roof.

After another hour in the heat (and I kept offering water but he insisted he was fine) he came back down and took the panel off of the breaker box. He found that all the tripping had loosened a wire as well as shifted the breaker away from the connection so it was arcing. He tightened the wire, pushed everything back into place, and we tried again.

Then he waited for 20 minutes as the AC ran to make sure the breaker would not trip again. I'm happy to say it's been running fine ever since.

The technician (Greg) called to let me know his ETA. He arrived on time and introduced himself. He was very professional, knowledgeable, kind, patient & detailed when explaining what was wrong with the air conditioner & what he needed to do to repair it. We have been in the middle of a heatwave and I am so thankful & grateful that he was able to repair my air conditioner today and not have to wait any longer in order to get some relief from the heat.
