Ruben and his whole team are very professional. They are very hard workers and install the systems efficiently. They installed my heating system and A/C and we are extremely happy with how they function. I chose to go with them because they offer quality products which work wonderfully .

I’ve unfortunately not had the pleasure of evaluating his workmanship, but in my limited experience, Ruben is unreliable and unprofessional. We rescheduled three separate appointments. He no-showed for all of them, with no advance notice. It’s understandable that things come up, but at some point, they just don’t care for your business. Don’t waste your time, they clearly don’t value it.

Ruben installed our new Aircon last winter, and we had not used it so far. When we tried to trying to turn it on in May it was not coming on. We tried the circuit breakers and thermostat was working fine on the furnace. In spite of being 6 months after the install Ruben was kind enough to come out to our house and figured out what was wrong. He immediately figured out it was the thermostat wiring and had it rewired in no time. He was so reluctant to accept any payment even for the inconvenience of driving half hour to our house. Even with some employee shortages during Covid he managed to find time on a Sunday to come to our place, and within a week of reaching out he fixed the issue. We would entrust Ruben with any future HVAC projects at our house. It’s wonderful when you can find such a competent, responsible and professional individual. Thank you for your timely help.

I have been using Ruben Terriquez, owner and hands-on-HVAC-expert-engineer at Green Planet Heating & Cooling Inc since 2013 till now in Aug-2020. Ruben and his team are incredible professional HVAC personnel and far superior from all accounts than previous 3 other HVAC companies and professionals I have used before I came to know Ruben through a home builder in 2013. Ruben has always made time during every emergency and non-emergency situation, communicated promptly and performed all complex and routine HVAC needs diligently from installing new furnace and A/C units with coil along with all on site needed changes with sheet metal work, fixing other HVAC contractor unfinished work (gas and electrical connections to furnace units, and electrical connections to A/C), condenser unit capacitor changes, recharging A/C units coolant level, and installing new thermostats and testing, He has worked well past 2 AM once to just finish the work and left every time the place spot free clean. Even yesterday, I called him at 7:30 am for the same day installation of a slim line A/C unit during this heat wave, and he was at my place just before 5 pm and worked along with Jose to finish the new energy efficient A/C unit installation with new coil over 4.5 hours, well past 9:30 pm! He is reasonable in price quotes, and I have never negotiated with him on the price, and he has kept up high service quality, professionalism during work and communication, and has a highly talented and disciplined team. Having the owner of the company doing the work along with his workers brings a totally different level of higher quality through attention to details, and care for his own team working under extreme weather conditions. I have recommended Ruben to all my friends and family and I intend to use Ruben for all my future HVAC needs. Thanks, Shesha
